The idea is that the centre defender pushes up into midfield when we have the ball
-
No idea about Juric. Managed decent teams in Italy so can’t be that bad?
-
May not have those up north yet tbh
-
Tbh in the situation we are in you’d think some of the senior players would

I couldn’t believe after that performance that they still got the day off! No wonder there’s no fight in the soft twats!
-
His agent would be dealing with it, Rohl will have given him a run down of what he wants etc before hand.

“During Mauricio Pochettino's time at Southampton, his training methods were known for their intensity and mental toughness. Players would engage in grueling sessions even shortly after matches, such as the "horseshoe runs" on Mondays, which involved high-endurance drills. When striker Rickie Lambert approached Pochettino to request lighter sessions, the manager responded by doubling the workload the following week, aiming to push his players to their physical and mental limits. These demanding routines built resilience but were also mentally challenging for the squad”

If the new manager adopts a 4,2,3,1 I can’t see who would play In the 2 screening the defence? Maybe Downes as one of them but can’t think of any players we have who could do the, as we used to have, Wanyama/ Romeu role?

You can install fitness any when. Poch did that when he took charge after Adkins. Double sessions, more running work during training etc etc
-
I would say in spite of rather than because of.
-
The club owns homes in Winchester that they use for players. Wouldn’t of thought any new manager would be buying his own for a possible short term appointment

Couldn’t muster anything against spurs U23

Can’t believe how quiet the fans are

We were brave for 20 secs

“Brentford and Brighton are now firmly established Premier League clubs, and neither could be described as suffer-ball scrappers. But both were willing to earn the right to play their football, to establish themselves first and then build and build on it. They didn’t immediately turn up in the Premier League trying to be Temu Man City.” 😣 😂 Temu Man City…

If it’s still an outside chance that we can stay up by getting rid of RM and installing a decent manager/coach then surely it’s worth the risk? Anyone know the money side? What the cost difference is between staying up having paid off RM and going down still continuing with this debacle?
-
That’s crazy! RM is worse than the much joked about Gerrard and lampard! 2 “managers” the fan base would of been up in arms about had they been appointed!

Hi Russ/Lucy…
-
Imagine this a manager changing tactics and formation during different phases… ”Santa Clara usually line up in a 3-4-3 but change things up in terms of shape during their press and only during their press. Santa Clara change their shape into a 4-2-3-1 during these situations”
-
A new manager might realise that the players at their disposal can’t play like Man City and set them up to their collective strengths…….. but that would be crazy? No? Let’s keep good ol Russel Roulette and continue with same shit every game 😆
-
You could say Russel Roulette……
