  1. Based on what? He's hardly had any game time. Nearly scored against West Ham and like all of our strikers, relies on some decent service, which isn't being provided
  2. Nope, I'm afraid we are down. If we had the quality or nous to win games, we would have done it 30 games ago and not waited until now.
  3. Feels like we've been here before. One of our best players shoehorned in to LB when we've got a LB on the bench. Bednarek doing his usual marking space for a moderate cross. Don't start me on fucking Elyounoussi - I'll drive him back to Norway myself. Starting without a recognised striker up front. It's all self-inflicted wounds. Can't blame Sports Republic, they've been prepared to invest but have been very badly advised by Ankersen who's self-inflated opinion of his own capability and thinking outside the box bullshit has been the single biggest reason on our downfall, that and not signing a proven goalscorer. We won't get relegated on today's showing. Better sides have lost by more to City and for 44 minutes, we did alright. But today, the daylight truly started to appear through the cracks at the foot of the table. To those who keep saying that we have to keep the faith, there needs to be something to believe in, and it's not there, and I've nothing to make me think it's going to mysteriously appear after the last 30 games.
  4. Money well spent
  5. As Brian Clough once said 'that was such a penalty, it was two penalties'
  6. The comebacks on!!
  7. Men against boys unfortunately
  8. Agree. Utter dogshit. And we're starting with him, Walcott and Bednarek - that in itself explains our league position
  9. It's fuck all to do with spirit, it's to do with the fact that we couldn't score in a Bangkok knocking shop with Katie Price on special offer
  10. Starting XI: Bazunu, Maitland-Niles, Bella-Kotchap, Bednarek, Walker-Peters, Lavia, Ward-Prowse [c], Elyounoussi, Walcott, Alcaraz, Kamaldeen. Subs: McCarthy, Ćaleta-Car, Perraud, Diallo, Djenepo, S. Armstrong, Edozie, Mara, Onuachu.
  11. No, he's been as frustrating as he ever is. Gives the ball away regularly and doesn't make any tackles. Made one half decent run today - one.
  12. Looking 60% better already with those two off
  13. Right changes. COYS!!!
  14. Painfully and unacceptably poor. Apart from Lavia, they've all been absolute shit. Alcaraz, Suleman and Onuachu on for Elyounoussi, Armstrong and Mara. We deserve to go down with this shit.
  15. Elyounoussi gives it away again Get him off the fucking pitch
  16. Pathetic fucking defending. Ball's in the air for an age and he gets a free header, all coming from that useless cunt Elyounoussi giving it away again
  17. He's successfully completed 1 out of 3 passes so far....
  18. If I saw Elyounoussi crossing the road, I would genuinely speed up if he meant he'd be out of contention for the rest of the season

  20. Anyone got a reliable VPN-free stream??
  21. Like every other match day then....
  22. Caballero is a proven Premiership standard goalkeeper, Bazunu is not. Forget the 'future', we need solidity now. Our Premiership survival is at stake. Bazunu made two absolute howlers yesterday that could've cost us even more points than he's already cost us this season. Caballero talks and marshals the defence whereas Bazunu makes players in front of him (and fans) nervous. Time to take him out of the firing line and give everyone's nerves a rest.
  23. Our best player today imo, fair play to him
  24. Something that worries me is if we should manage to stay up, are SR going to pat themselves on the back and think everything is rosy or are they going to ship out the driftwood and strengthen the squad. Still not convinced Selles is the answer either. We were poor today but rode our luck.
