12 batting points and not replacing Vince has been s disaster. It would not be a gimme if we go down to come straight back up either,Lancashire with a very decent top order have only won one championship game so far.

Relegation a definate possibility now,totally disastrous,that 8 point deduction has certainly not helped. Will we be the be the only county docked points this season ?

Outplayed in the first half and although better in the second [ which was impossible not to be ], It galls me to say it,but if any team deserved to win it was them. We paid 15 odd million for Downes [ more than double the cost of their team ] and he has to be one of the worst players I have ever seen,but as bad as he was,most of the others were not that much better. A total shambles of a club,I predicted 6th place,but on that showing it will be 15 th to 20 th. I suppose we have to be pleased with a lucky clean sheet. Furious.

Somerset deserve to be champions on the back of winning so many group games,however even allowing for Woods injury those last 5 overs were dire to say the least.

Will Sussex get docked points for the wicket at Hove this week ?

The multi millionaires and billionaires could put an end to HMRC tactics by paying their fair share of tax [ instead of transfering it to offshore tax havens ] They are a greedy load of -------- . Timeshare drove people to suicide with their threats, a company my late mother and I visited in 2010 wanted £5000.00 to get rid of mums two timeshares,we both walked out in disgust.

Well that was exceptional from the brilliant Liam Dawson and Scott Currie. Think the game is nw 50/50,the small boundaries and the terrible outfield will make it tough. Would love to eat more humble pie,but I doubt whether the most ardent Hants supporter thought we would end up with 304,after being 78 for 4 off 20 overs.

Middleton puts himself and the side under too much pressure,he faces far too many dot balls for a number 3 batter. I do get that someone has the sheet anchor role to play.

Packing your side with bowlers is fine if you post a decent total,unfortunately that possibility looks a long way off now.

We can only hope that Jander likes to get stuck in and relishes a battle in the middle of the park. Some one needs to shield that piss poor defence.

We are behind them in the league for the first time in years,that should be the biggest wake up call needed. However with a totally shambolic defence,we will probably have to score at least 3 goals to win.
