Well said. Our midfield was an absolute shambles in the first half (and several other halves this season). AMN at leat got his foot on the ball, found space and looked forward when he came on. Diallo and JWP look like a couple of little scrawny rats in midfield, fuck me could we do with a Wanyama and Schneiderlin combo. Aribo has been utter dogshit as well but I think that comes from our non existent engine which cannot provide a foothold for the more forward thinking players to express themselves. The terrible first half illustrated that Ralph really isn’t the man to motivate this bunch of strange players. The only positive are a better goalkeeper and decent defenders we now have available. At least that’s a foundation but fuck me do I hate our pathetic midfield and toothless forwards at the moment.
