  1. I put a bet on. Just have a funny feeling. The only way to de-Russ, is to re-Ralph I just think any younger manager is going to struggle. Obviously you've got other older experienced managers. It needs a dad figure
  2. I think those stories came about because Romeu visited the team on a training camp in Girona. But, there's maybe nothing in it, as u say. It's interesting though
  3. Or they could be wooing Ralph. You don't just randomly sign Romeu at 34. Look at the signings
  4. I've got a theory It was reported that some players complained about Still, who has now departed. It'll be the Martin players Martin himself, he has a bruised reputation after Rangers so needs somewhere to repair his reputation I think, those players and Martin are in communication, Martin is happy to come back, and one or more of those players has put this out there in one way or another in the hope that he returns, a leaked story to the press or so. And on the basis of that, he is favourite because of the press coverage I think, for me, Martin ultimately failed in the top league, so what would be the point of him returning. And, players shouldn't be influencing anything. So, as an owner, Martin should be a no go and this should be a non story
  5. Romeu and Ralph are buddies 👍
  6. If Romeu is signing, it surely means Ralph is back
  7. I genuinely believe Downs is better than he has shown. If you think about it, Azaz was good at Middlesbrough but he has looked rubbish too I'm hoping a new manager will bring the best out of the new players I'm shocked at how bad we have been this season. It's crazy
  8. Still mentioned multiple times that it was hard to remove Martin's way of playing out of the players, so surely it would be daft to rehire Martin. He's caused alot of damage at Rangers too, and his way of playing isn't the way teams play now. Plus Still mentioned the players weren't very fit when he joined So, for me, it's just anyone apart from Martin who either needs to change or give up managing
  9. If you read his scouting reports, he is regarded quite highly and has alot of assets. I think he just needs time to adapt. He has only played the equivalent of 2 full games so far in minutes this season
  10. I think just take the money, it's a good price Part of me thinks he looked better than he was because the rest of the team set a low standard. And, any slightly creative player will stand out in the team. I think he'll be easily replaceable, and chances are, his heart wasn't in it this season anyway
  11. Ozzy was a legend. Single handedly, he's probably the biggest influence on rock music, the entire genre, since the inception of Black Sabbath
  12. It's Archer, to replace Vardy. I'm not sure if there is anything to it though and would he want to move Again, it's one of them, like the overseas fellow who wants to invest. Southampton was suggested to him as a possibility, then it was reported that we have a potential investor. It's people creating their own news lol

    Let's keep

He might stay. The recent words we're taken out of context. Let the summer play out. There is alot of work to be done, there is alot to clear out, it's all gone daft since Russ left. Next season is what it is. If we return to the Premier League, it might go daft again hence my question from a few weeks back. If all fails, the owners will probably sell. That is it and all. Next year is key, money is not an issue. It's Hollywood or bust hereonin. We are looking for fast and fit and flexible. The new chap is brainy Season tickets are a must, from the other thread
  14. p.s. Rohl isn't about money completely, it's a time thing, sooner than later. Just reading the bbc story
  15. We've got Still, and Saints are flying. And we're oozing control..... Based on the Grease theme
  16. If it didn't mean burning through managers and buying better players Not so much next year though
  17. There is a reason I ask. There is an idea afoot, popularist in essence, which involves the above. As per previous posts, nothing ever happens that is said. But interesting to gauge opinion. No idea if they read here or not
  18. Would folk be up to the idea, if we return to the Premier League, to break the rules on spending and go for the 10 point deduction
  19. Hi, there was a foreign, either interview or presentation, and they were talking about the downturn in the world economy, or something like that, and there were references made to Southampton, and it stemmed from there. It might be on Google, I don't know. It doesn't matter, and if you don't believe me, it doesn't matter. All clubs are technically for sale at all times so it's irrelevant anyway
  20. All this stuff that is written does genuinely come out of clubs, but none of it happens. Genuinely, the only thing this year that has happened was RVN taking over at Leicester. Nothing else has ever happened. Noone at clubs know anything, I think you have to know agents to get any good information. I've given up with it all lol. It's one of them where if you post everything you hear, something will be right eventually.
  21. Dragan Solak, it originated from a foreign interview
  22. Lol, it was a comment taken out of context, a while back now, that lots of people are aware of, out of frustration Saints are not actively for sale. Can't believe this was reported as news lol
  23. Alot of wordy posts here lol It looks as though the Pep's way of playing, generally speaking, is not working and football has moved on. Russ needs to find a new way of playing otherwise he'll be joining Stig on the football dump. I like some of the players we have but they need to be tougher and fitter. Send them all off to the gym in the Summer

    Ivan Juric

Forest have covered the least distance and are doing well, but also have the least injuries. Spurs the polar opposite on both scales. Saints haven't run far overall, but sprints should have increased with Juric, but haven't. The team are also generally running less since Prowse left, indicating lack of leadership on the pitch, possibly?
