  1. Ive got to drop her off there, and pick her up later....Unfortunately, Le Tiss wont be there, but I am tempted to hide in his wardrobe for a few days until he comes back.
  2. Started off going with my dad and standing in the corner of the Milton / east stand, right down tnear the corner flag. We went there as that is where my dad used to stand with his dad. got a bit older (14/15 ish) and started venturing to the back of the Milton. Then, about early 20's, started going in the Archers.
  3. So many people on here spout of all sorts of bollix before the facts are actually know. Its the same people over and over again.

  6. SALT: 2/10. It only gets a 2 because I have to try and justify to myself that I actually sat through a load of sheeeit. Poor story, loads of plot holes, silly action scenes (taser driving!!). waste of time.
  7. Im not being funny, and I dont want to talk Saint-Scooby out of a sale.... But if you need to ask these questions, im not sure that boat is right for you. Just trying to do you a favour, if its a first time thing, you would probably be better off with something a little less powerful / expensive. Like i say, just trying to help. Sorry Saint-Scooby (although its doing quite well on ebay)
  8. Note headset and goatee My hatred started when he did the half time team talk, I imagine he lost a lot of respect amongst those involved in football over that little charade. Then there is the "humber bridge" episode detailed above, then the sing-a-long. His perma tanned face winds me.
  9. The bloke is a 1st class f*cking mong, I hate him with every inch of my body. If he gets the saints job, he could well be the first manager to be booed out of the tunnel on his first game. CCCCCCCCCCCCCCUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnntttttttttttt Rant over.
  10. Ciro Ferrera Marcello Lippi Adkins

  13. Hi, Due to a unfortunate situation forced upon my sister, she has just moved into a flat on her own and is in despearate need for some CHEAP (OR FREE !!!) furniture. In particular, she is after a sofa and lounge furniture, as her lounge is currently bare, but anything would be considered. So, if anyone has any spare furiture they were thinking about getting rid of, please let me know, I can come and pick it up (if its in the southampton area). Thanks in advance. Matt.
  14. If finding the "Whos the biggest **** in F1" league far more interesting than the constructors championship or the drivers championship this season. Current standings: 1: Fernando Alonso 2: Sebastian Vettel 3: Michael Schumacher

  18. How long before the is moved to "The Arts". I thought Avatar was good. Ok, not the best story, but the effects and the novelty of 3D made it stand out for me.

  20. This is a trip that I have been wanting to do for a long long time, mainly because of my fascination of anything to do with WW2. Since the age of about 15 / 16, I’ve been reading and learning about (what I consider to be) the single most important "event" in human civilisation. This trip really serves as a chance to see, with my own eyes, all the things I’ve been reading about all these years. I have no personal attachment to the Normandy beaches (neither grand parent fought in the war as one was a fire man and the other worked in oil and were both considered to be needed on the home front) but I have this compelling urge to visit these places. I know it was a long time ago, etc etc. but I still feel the need to go and pay my respects. EDIT: I’m reading this book at the moment http://www.amazon.co.uk/Struggle-Europe-Wordsworth-Military-Library/dp/1853266779 Very well written, would strongly recommend
  21. Cheers for the info so far, very helpful. A couple of questions... - Have any of you ever camped, if so, got any suggestions for decent sites. - Can you "wild camp" - How busy are the cemetaries, museums. I know it depends on when you go and weather etc, but are they rammed with people, or do you have the time / space to take it all in on your own. Cheers
  22. the number plate gag had me in stitches. Also liked, The Reliant Robin piece, driving up the volcano, making their own camper vans, tom & Cameron on the sofa.
  23. Communism isn't necessarily a bad idea, it's just been placed in the hands of the wrong people.
