Fcuk me, passing about with no real end product. Then give the ball away with a sloppy pass that will always happen, opposition straight on it. Got away with that big time.

I have a real dilemma, that’s being really bugging me. What do we now call Lego, with his new hair cut.🤔
-
We have the quality and ability to overcome anyone in the playoffs. What will beat us is what’s in our heads. RM and coaching staff need to earn their money these last few games.

Sorry from day 1 he has been nowhere near the level. I am all for giving the next generation of managers a go and trying to find the next Potts or whoever. But we have just completely F!’@d up since Ralph. We seem to have absolutely no idea , no direction and some mentality from a director that has come in and gone the minute the money and so say kudos waves in his face. It needs SR to have some nads stop being fed crap by pretend football people and put a proper strategy in place. Don’t blame Dragan at all, but for all his money, needs to go back to basics employee a manager that has been around the block knows how to play basic proper football at this level. We absolutely had a squad to be top 2 all season, but just tried to be clever by asking for another card holding 20 at the blackjack table. This is going to be a journey, even RM couldn’t put up an argument after the Leicester game. Looked and spoke like a broken man. F~}k me get Warnock in for the play offs, he has pedigree. Pay him whatever and let him retire in the summer after another promotion. Then work on a proper list of managers, we are a big club. Nothing wrong with going for the big guns. We have done it before, so why not now. Rant over, soapbox put away.

100%. One small issue with that, the players on the pitch will have to completely ignore what RM tells them to do………….

I haven’t got a crystal ball, but holy crap. Surely this was always going to be the outcome this season with this clown. His stubborn ideas he was spouting before he took his first training session. This was only going one way, with him unfortunately.
-
At least I’ve got my weekend back on the 25 / 26. At least I can cut the grass, and maybe trim the hedges.
-
Bring on any team in the playoffs. We have the quality, just unfortunately the elephant in the room is RM. Just don’t think he has the skill set to navigate the playoffs.
-
Not being the doom and gloom merchant here, but that was plainly obvious before the first ball was kicked this season. Another experiment, we should have walked or certainly been top two all season.

It’s promotion under Adkins all over again. ( if we can make it 🤞) I loved Adkins for the record, but when you look back in hindsight, absolutely the right thing to do letting him go in the big league. Potchs coming in was a master class, just hope SR have the same drawer of names, and the stones to do it. Got to go up and I am believing now. But RM unfortunately IMO will be a casualty along with a few of the squad. In fairness RM has done a great job. But to stay in the prem a few quid and a flexible, willing to adapt manager.
-
To be fair he is a ok mid table Championship, L1 manager as most have said. I’m all for finding the next Pep, Jose, and so on and so on. But was RM ever going to be the next cool, hip, and most importantly successful manager that SR wanted. Table says it…….
-
Sorry RM.
-
I am far from a football manager, but can RM not just mix it up and rattle the opposition. We look like we go into every game with our opponents and manager, knowing exactly how we will play. What is wrong with giving the opposition a bit of possession forcing an error and causing chaos on the break. This is not F;:£ing Sunday league level. One plan like everyone on this forum says, really worry about getting through the semis let along making Wembley.

Only thing I would add, if we don’t go up, what about the kids in the academy. Haven’t heard a lot about if any of them are ready to make the step up to the First team. Im talking particularly about our U18 scholars. I would not want a team of kids next season, but just wondering if a couple in there are nuggets worth giving a go. Either attacking or defensively.

Anyone got Warnocks number for the playoffs.
-
Sorry, I don’t get to the ground as much as I would like. (Youngest plays at 3 pm Saturday) I enjoyed today, ( Che 🤯🤯🤯) driving back though made me realise if we are going to lift the play off trophy need RM to ramp it up. He needs a lesson in positivity. Give Cameron Hughes a call and pay for his flight, we going to need that.

Plays offs it is I guess

Tbf we are where we are, which is great with the level of coaching and choice of the last 3 managers. RM must be thinking wow Playoffs that’s exactly what I thought. We clearly had a budget to tempt RM, a typical Championship manager. As a result our current position is absolutely fair given the managers experience. Leeds , Leicester recognised the level of exposure at Premier League and what it takes to be around that environment for a manager/ Head Coach. Imo it’s no surprise to see where those two teams are at the moment and likely to finish. Exactly why we are where we are and will end up finishing. RM has done a very, very good Championship job. Fair play to him, as a Saints fan is that what I want. No….,

Just don’t bring back the Solent Waves away kit. (Mine is still wrapped up no name or number, waiting for it to be worth 1000’s) 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴 -
Ralph Hasenhüttl new manager of VfL Wolfsburg
Saint Gifford replied to Disco Stu's topic in The Saints
He will be driving a Volkswagen then I guess. Great manager take him back in a heartbeat. Been watching a few Bunds league games and apart from the top three, the rest would struggle in the Championship. Really surprised he never got a shot back in the prem. He was on Man Utd shortlist at some point if memory serves correct, and if you believe the press. Best of luck to him -
My tenner might be good after all. 😁
-
Agree with you. But playing against a poor Chelsea team that tbf are mid table Prem at the moment, and that’s a complement to them. Feel a bit for Potts, I bet he’s thinking what have I walked into. Can’t see him lasting much longer. Reaction to his subs said it all both the good one and and the bad one.
-
As an England fan obviously, never got the Sterling thing for all these years. Guess he’s made his point.
-
Ive had a tenner for the final top 4. 1. Leeds 2. Southampton 3. Leicester 4. Ipswich 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

Thankyou
