Pretty bad that after a long preseason, there was seemingly very little structure or style of play being implemented. I’m not sure why Still waited until a competitive game to play the first team together Arma doesn’t work centrally. RW or not at all. We won, but truly that papered over the cracks and we need to be much better.

It’s honestly a fucking disgrace New manager, but exactly the same shit Why the fuck do we keep having to watch Arma at 9? Bazunu in goal? Stephens at CB? What other club continues to ignore such obvious flaws - for years? I’m so bored of it now. Ive watched about 50 matches of arma at 9, and its never fucking worked. Never. He is not big enough. Ffs

Very happy that we improved towards the end of a game, instead of fading. That alone is a huge positive compared to last season

Fair play Love all 3 kits this season. They’ve outdone themselves imo. Now we just need to win some games in them, to really give a sense of nostalgia

Agree, I’d get rid. Even if he ends up going to a rival, that’s actually a positive as he’d weaken whoever he ends up with. Shambles of a “footballer”

At the end of the day, his ‘dressing room presence’ can’t be any good either. He’s been here in 2 of our worst ever seasons. Hardly setting a high standard is he? Absolutely sick of watching him at this point. If we start the season with him and Bazunu playing as first choice again I will be raging

In my opinion he epitomises everything wrong at the club. He has been woeful for ages with a honking attitude. Yet we throw a long contract at him. Shoehorned into the side at the expense of a cohesive unit by Martin, which harmed us last season. He was also loaned out before that and we STILL renew his contract. I just don’t get it. He’s nowhere near good enough and his attitude has let us down over and over again. I thought we were supposed to have new decision makers? Off to a bad start

This one actually makes sense to me, assuming he’s any good. As stated by a few above, it feels like the striker position is probably the position we need to strengthen the least for the championship imo. Armstrong, Archer and Stewart (if fit) can all score goals at this level. A young striker with potential to go alongside them makes sense. I’d sack BBD off though. Utterly useless footballer. Of course we would then need to strengthen massively if we get promoted. But that’s next years problem.
