Well its safe to say from a personal point of view the feeling's mutual...And i have to say I'm not alone.....More and more Americans 'and' other nationality's are becoming aware of what Britain has become ....(Ask anyone who lives in any UK vacation hotspot what they think of Brits)........There's even mounting pressure to remove the UK from the Visa waver programme, due to terrorist concerns......Cant see things getting any better either, not after US troops had to go in and clean up Basra after the British failure there.....And no ones blaming the 'troops' on the ground for that....purely the donkeys that lead them and their political masters.. Not sure what the UK and indeed Europe will do if the US were to remove its safety umbrela...what with Russia flexing its muscles and all...With with all that hatred pointing this way, maybe the powers to be will consider Europe as 'no longer our fight' ....Good luck with that

Inaccurate?....Slightly it seems ..Nonsense? not at all....I made that post based on a quick calculation in my head at the time....Everything checks out except for the fact the exchange rate has changed so dramatically ...I used a rate from August, which was the last time i had looked...I had no idea the bottom had fallen out Sterling the way it has....Man, thats scary You can produce all the statistics and averages you like, but it wont alter the fact that Using August's exchange rate, Gordys tax money on an equivalent gallon last week would have brought you very nearly 4 gallons of Gas here.......At the current exchange rate, you'll only get 3 Gallons.....That's still THREE whole Gallons of gas for the same price as HM Government charges in TAX for the same product and thats despite the pathetic value of the pound...Are you really saying that nonsense? ...I'm amazed you can apparently be so comfortable with that .....but hey, each to their own i guess...Its not something i'd be prepared to put up with

I think if they get more people on board who believe in their current manifesto then they'll have no choice but to stick by it, should they get elected. They're the first and only party from what i can see who are proposing 'true' freedom for Britons, along with the necessary accountability and responsibility...Locally elected and truly accountable local Governments with real decision making powers...... The end of Quango's.......A meaningfull 'Bill of rights' for Citizens and a right to bear arms along with the right to self defense. Just filled up this morning... $1.30 a gallon. Or 22p a litre in English money (even at todays exchange rates)..... That's a third as much as Gordy charges in 'TAX' on a litre of Gas over there..... Absolutely staggering that just the Tax alone for 1 Litre of Gas in the UK costs more than 3 litres of Gas 'in the tank' in the US (including tax) and just about anywhere else....Unbelievable A Dollar a Gallon before Mardi Gras i reckon........Man, i feel a 50 State road trip coming up

Maggie broke the glass ceiling and as DD said, gave us all an opportunity, never seen before in Britain.... She made it possible for people to progress and improve thier lives with hard work, sweat and common sence, no matter what their background....... Some of us took notice and grabbed the opportunity with both hands and others just continued as they were, the way they've always been and no doubt always will. Sure, some people got greedy and some, after decades of the comfort blanket of socialism just weren't up to taking on the responsibility of being acountable for their own actions.....Just about all my friends and family before Thatcher had very similar and fairly mundane futures in front of us back then.....After a decade of Maggie in charge, most of us have ended up moving off the 'factory floor' to run our own businesses or into management. A couple are still on factory floor doing the same as they did back then....But they hated Thatcher with a passion. As scary as that is, you do realise that when you factor everything into the UK's economic figures and compare 'like for like' with the US. You're sitting on a 'true' UK National debt of around 180% GDP!?!?......Some econamist's around the world even put it closer to 230%.... The UK's current National debt figures have the same NuLabour spin as their crime figures' 'Only partially reported'..........For instance there's absolutely no account for the Governments Ponzi/Madoff pyramid type pension scheme....Still has to be paid for tho....Along with a whole load of other socialist welfare type expenditure that's missing.....And that brings me to my original point and back on topic. How long can Britain continue with its cart blanche welfare handouts?.....This whole global economic crisis came about through bad debt...Much of it forced upon banks and private institutions by socialist or socialist leaning Governments...The whole problem in the US came about due to Clinton (Democrat) forcing laws uopon the banking/mortgage system, making them lend people money against their better judgment. The 27% interest on the emergency social fund is a reflection of the risk involved in lending the money.....Lets be totally honest here. If these people are the "poorest of the poor" then its more than likely they're going to default on the loan...In fact i can almost garentee at least 50% of them will........Why should hard working and frugal tax payers continue to be expected to constantly put their hands in their pockets to bail out people who have chosen not to make anything of their life, or to live a life of welfare...Especially in this current climate where everyone's feeling it......Making the 'loan' available to someone who the banks wouldn't touch with a barge pole is a great move in my view.....'Giving' the money away is pure stupidity. If some people feel strongly about it then let them donate to a charity fund or something.....But leave the tax payer out of it
