US Toxic debt tipped the scales, not poor accounting.......The toxic debt that US banks were forced to take on in ever increasing amounts by 'Government Regulation' from the Clinton era....Who were then monitored and pursued though the courts by groups like Obama's ACORN etc for failing to provide enough 'poor' and 'minority' people with mortgages. The very peeps that most Banks sensibly wouldn't have touched with a barge pole prior to Left wing Government intervention.

That's easy....just do as we do here...Limit unemployment benefit to 78 weeks...When its gone its gone. After that you're going to have to start selling what you own and cashing in your pension etc......The idle wasters will be more than happy to make the most of the first job they can at that point...problem solved. If the media had been able to report every little detail at Dunkirk in the same way they do today, The British public would never have had the stomach or resolve to tough it out with Hitler for the next 5 years....Normandy would never have happened. Fair play to Matty for being honest about it....At the end of the day it really isn't much different to taking a office pen home or a bag of cement or 4x2 or similar...sure, its wrong, but everyone's done it at some point in their lives.....Matty's human and humans are failable....even the God like hero ones.....Not so many are prepared to admit to their failings though. Yup...When i was a Merchant Seaman back in the 70's, I used to 'hate' coming to UK Ports ....Everything was soooo antiquated and the attitude of the Dockers stunk....What would take a week to load/unload in Britain could be done in 2-3 days in pretty much any other major Port in the western world....In fact you were doing well if you weren't delayed even further with strikes or breakdowns etc..... No wonder the only thing you'll find in most of the once great old British Dockyards these days are Apartments. I guess you could call them a monument to the successes of socialism
