  1. heh ....love the irony of this lol.........http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1224711/Muslim-racially-abused-Nick-Griffin-threatened-shoot-him.html
  2. Why is it, that when some peeps have lost the argument, they revert to picking on spelling and punctuation?....I guess they just feel the need to be right about 'something'? BTW...I see there's now a whole day dedicated to you and some of your friends ....."Climate Fools Day" LOL http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/10/30/climate_fools_day/
  3. It's MONDAY!......and that means.....http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4612108 http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4606543 Falcons at the Dome on monday night all over again.....So many memories from the last game back in 2006.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfaSWxeSSkM&feature=related ......... and then this happened... it couldnt even have been scripted any better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSsfA7W7Y8A&feature=related Unbelevebly, tonight could may well wrap up the division title, even this early in the season WHO DAT!
  4. Heh ...Plenty of peeps around to cash in on the dim and gullible non the less http://execed.bus.umich.edu/Programs/Climate-Change-Whats-Your-Business-Strategy.aspx?gclid=COWRjof76J0CFQQM2godLGWEJw “Don't think of climate change as an environmental issue; think of it as a market shift. In fact, you can remain completely agnostic about the science of climate change but still recognize its importance as a business issue.” This mindset is required to develop effective strategy." LOL Even funnier is that some peeps 'PAY' for that advice
  5. Why would it?.....A Hurricane hit New Orleans, just as they have been doing since the beginning of time and waaay before man ever walked on this planet. Only this time we were made to pay for some dumb and stupid civil engineering decisions from the 60's and 70's....Building levees in the Delta that cut off the flow of silt to the Wetlands, and building a **** off great shipping canal, along with huge drainage canals that acted like funnles, forcing the 20' storm surge right into to the heart of the City. Sure, it was 'Man' that caused the flooding, but nothing to do with man effecting the climate. Fortunately level heads prevailed after. We didn't all dump our trucks and turn off our AC systems and close the Oil lines from the Gulf and start paying a 'Green' tax and feel good about our selves for stopping 'man made' climate change and started living in mud huts blissful ignorance.......No, we attacked the problem scientifically and a lot of lessons were learnt...We closed and filled in the MRGO Shipping canal....We built gates and pumps at the entrance to the drainage canals, strengthened and redesigned some of the Levee's where they didn't work to spec....and are repairing the erosion of the Wetlands and working on schemes to allow the Mississippi to once again flood the Delta and deposit its silt where it had been for thousands of years..... Lucky we all didn't take much notice of the left wing media or we may well have been getting our mud huts washed away sometime in the future. To say the devestation caused by Katrina was caused by 'man made' global warming is to deny that hurricains of similar strength, or stronger have never made landfall on the Gulf Coast before 100-200 years ago..... As i've said many many times before, Climate change will happen with man here or not....Time to start putting rescorces towards 'dealing' with it rather than the religious like frenzy of trying to stop it....Aint gunna happen, trust me!
  6. heh....The last time i was at Silverstone, i very nearly got into a fight after making tooo much noise in the campsite after getting back from the Jordon party...Not just one person, ohh nooo...peeps from 'Three' tents got upset...At no later than '1 am' no less! The writing was already on the wall for F1 for me by then anyway...That just kinda helped seal the deal. What ever happend to the air horns, fireworks, reving bikes, bands playing and partying all through the night for 3-4 days straight, no matter what curcuit you went to. I'm guessing some fun could still be had at Monza and maybe Spa could still cut it, and Monaco is, well Monaco ...but apart from that it all looks very bleak for future F1 fans Thank god for NASCAR! Go MONTY!
  7. So F1 is just as sanitized for the fans at the circuit these days, as it is for every other aspect of the Sport How things have changed from the total craziness we used to get up too, following F1 around the world in days gone by "Major Faisal Mohammad Ali Al Shemmari, chairman of the Media Affairs Committee for the F1 Race at Abu Dhabi Police said that members of the public are not allowed to carry sharp items, fireworks and laser indicators into the venue. "The public are allowed to carry one bottle of water and it should be kept open. Any food or other drinks are not allowed. A number of restaurants will be provided," he said. The police are advising against taking children under the age of seven. Officials recommend the use of ear plugs to soften the high-pitched sounds of the racing cars. An operations room will be set up at the venue to help the public with emergency situations. Multilingual volunteers will be also be present at the circuit to help. Prohibited items are those forbidden under the laws of the UAE, for example, firearms, explosives and other weapons. Items not to carry to the circuit include any alcohol, food, beverages, glass bottles or containers, any metal flag or banner pole, any flag or banner pole longer than one metre, chairs, benches, stools, any cooler box or hamper or helium balloons. No pets or animals are allowed, other than a guide dog used to assist a patron with a disability. Items which could be used as a weapon or firearm - whether imitation or not - are prohibited. In addition, golf buggies, bicycles, scooters, skateboards and in-line or roller skates, frisbees, prams and strollers, musical instruments and/or amplification equipment including public address systems, distress signals, whistles, loud hailers, horns or bugles, electronic equipment or other broadcast equipment are prohibited."
  8. As a fully assimilated and card carrying Redneck, I will, in good 'ole Redneck fashion, use and spell the word, when and how, i want .......Now who the **** are you to say different?....So i suggest you run along old chap.
  9. Can't say that's the case down here.....The Saints and LSU are pretty much a religion around these parts. Some of the most passionate and crazy fans of 'any' sport I've ever seen. Amazing, considering the Saints have been a perpetually loosing team, having never made the Superbowl and only made the playoffs 6 times in 40 years...Now we've been getting our act together a bit better over the last few years, the "City that care forgot" has reached even new hights of passion. Win or lose, the team are always welcomed back from away games by hundreds, sometimes thousands of fans at the Airport, no matter what time of night or early morning it is......Everyone's a 'Who Dat' and a LSU Tiger I'm just glad i bought my season tickets when we were still ****....The waiting list has grown to 50k and if this season continues the way its going that could well double by the end of the year........The Superdome and Tiger Stadium are some of the loudest and electric sporting arenas in the world, no doubt about that......120 - 130db's regularly recorded at field level.....We get right into the heads of the opposition and confuse them and force them into mistakes....Several games over the years have had cucial stages atributed to crowd noise....Players simply 'Hate' coming here As for the World Cup here.....If the last one is anything to go by, Disney showed all the games live, so if you have a DVR you should have no probs getting to see the games...but don't expect to be able to talk about them with too many peeps...Most won't even know its on......The last one generated a little interest but all the diving and play acting, along with abusing the refs did the game no favors here.....I wanna say it set back pro Soccer here by a good decade or so...It really didn't go down well Geaux Saints!
  10. This is sick, sick sick and represents one of the many things wrong with todays Britain http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1223342/Man-stabbed-death-burglar-ransacking-mothers-house-charged-murder.html This, as much as anything clearly shows how far things have gone and how much ya'll need a Government with some common sense and a backbone before its too late...If its not already. Just glad i got the **** out of it
  11. So why do you and so many other peeps have a problem with that?.....Why do ya'll feel the need to 'force' Soccer down the throat of Americans?
  12. lol, that's just a light hearted **** take, written during the last world Cup and mainly in response to the constant drone of "Americans 'must like' Soccer"....... I wouldn't get too 'outraged' about it heh The NFL, NBA and MLB keep most Americans occupied for most of the year, so not much room for another major sport here. and besides, Soccer doesn't quite cut it when put up against American Football or Basketball, Pro 'or' Collage........ The amateur game's pretty popular here, with a surprising amount of Soccer fields eround most Cities. But none the less, the Pro game is destined to stay in the 'minor' bracket for the foreseeable future. I think peeps would prolly give themselves a little less stress if they could just accept that the 'whole' world doesn't 'need' to love Soccer...
  13. 6 & 0! and daylight at the top of the NFC! What a game! ....Coming back to win from 24-3 down at Landshark, shows the measure of this Saints team! The great Saints tradition of fans welcoming the team back home, win or lose after away games is as strong as ever, with 1000's of us at the Airport last night at near midnight........Only in NOLA baby! Bring on the Dirty Birds on a stick GEAUX SAINTS!!!
  14. Man this is so awesome...'Both' the Saints in my life are on a roll.....I just love Sundays 'and' Saturdays now GEAUX SAINTS!!!
  15. Anyone surprised by this?.....http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1222613/Labour-let-migrants-engineer-multicultural-UK.html And Oh dear, not quite as planned lol.....http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1222586/The-BNP-backlash--MPs-accuse-BBC-playing-Nick-Griffins-hands-stage-managing-Question-Time-onslaught.html And this should get a few hand wringers reaching for their comfy blankets.....http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/6417906/One-in-four-would-consider-voting-BNP.html Is the worm really turning ?
  16. Are you really that naive?.....or just playing dumb in a bid to score some kind of forum points?........Ever heard of tactical voting?....Ask all the socialists on here, who vote Lib Dem just to keep the Tories out etc. Do you really believe Nick Griffon has a hope in hell in asking Her Maj to form a Government after the next election? Did i say Communism?.....If i meant Communism I'd have said Communism... I'm fully aware of where the BNP stand politically, which is why i wouldn't want to see them actually form a Government......However, their manifesto still contains a good deal of 'common sense'...Something the mainstream parties have long forgotten.... The BNP have already given the main parties a nudge, even though they are still a relatively minor entity.....Give them a higher percentage of the vote and they're going to scare the **** out of them.....Hell they may even start to actualy listen too, and 'serve' the people...A concept long ago forgoten in Britain... Right now Britain needs a strong BNP type party....Its your only hope..... Although it may already be too late.....A whole lot of Brits have settled into the comfort zone a 'Totalitarian Welfare State' provides...Do as your told and Nanny will look after you. But hey, if thats what Brits want, who am i to say any different.
  17. Far from it....I said I'll prolly vote for them, I didn't say i wanted them in Power.....The drift towards a Totalitarian Welfare State needs to be stopped and none of the mainstream parties look like they have what it takes to do it on their own. That means they need a powerful 'Opposition' to get them on track. Britain has become a "Nation of bed wetters"....Handing out more State funded bed pans 'aint gunna fix the problem.
  18. Aye...as much as the libs preach tolerance etc .....When it really boils down to it, its clear that the libs are some of the most intolerant peeps in the world......This forum and others are a pretty good microscope. Just mention BNP, OIL, BIG BUSINESS, IMMIGRATION TOUGH ON CRIME, or pretty much any other subject and watch the abuse fly from peeps who all reside in the 'green area' Tolerant, only as long as you agree with them... FWIW.... My vote will prolly be going to the only party who seems to want to try and address Britains continued slide into the abyss.....yup..the BNP
  19. yeah yeah yeah ....You got a B side to that broken record of yours? Heh.....dishing out insults on teh internets, sooo spotty juvenile.......Bet you stand behind the Old Bill at SMS and scream insults at the away fans too, dontcha Silly Boy
  20. Just remove Britains stupid gun laws..that'll solve the problem overnight. Amazing how much the desire to "give some one a slap" is reduced when that 'someone could well be packing a 9mm
  21. Aye....to many years like this ) and this ) Saints have entered a new era now though, The Benson's, (owners) and the front office under Mickey Loomis have turned this whole Organization on it's head. It started when they hired Coach Sean Payton in 2006 following our nightmare 3-13 season after playing every game on the road and then had faith that Drew would recover from his career threatening shoulder injury that saw the Chargers let him go......The rest is falling into place just nice ......So here's hoping ) Geaux Saints!!!
  22. Oh yeah baby!......Abandon hope, all ye who enter:... The road to the Super Bowl goes through New Orleans ... and a visit there these days looks like hell. Aint that the truth ) (http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Articles/11_2906_Drew%27s_Divine_Comedy.html) 5 & 0, Giant killers and New York State Champions ).......The wake of pure desperation from teams having faced the Saints grows even bigger http://www.youtube.com/user/NYGIANTPRIDE#p/a/0/PT6KGedKA1E They just dont know what hit them ) Bring on the Phins.....WHO DAT! and GEAUX SAINTS!!!
  23. The problem is, its way way more than just CCTV....That's just the tip of the Iceberg Step back and take a look at all the new 'Control' type laws that have slowly been 'filtering' into effect over the last 12 years.... There's fastidiously enforced State control now, for just about everything you do...even at the expense of the enforcement of common criminal law. Theres a saying over here and although not technically correct, it does sum up the State of modern Britain really well "In the US, you cant do something if there's a law that says you can't. In the UK, you cant do something unless there's a law that says you can.
  24. Doesn't even come close to the amount of control the British Government has over it's subjects.....Not even remotely......We're worlds apart these days The fact you think it does, tells me you either have no idea how things work in the US ( not unreasonable) or you really haven't cottoned on to the amount the British State now control's and monitors every aspect of your life......which pretty much confirms my point above Britain has become a truly scary place for anyone who has even the slightest regard for personal liberties. If i were in your shoes, I'd be spending my energy trying to regain some my freedoms, rather than lashing out at anyone who happens to highlight the problem
  25. That makes sense, considering the amount of State control and surveillance, NuLabour have put in place over the last 12 years....The erosion of individual liberties in that period has been nothing short of breathtaking. The amazing thing is, they did it, without most of that lot in the green area even noticing......Just goes to show what you can achieve when you set out with a with a plan of stealth and smoke and mirrors. Will be very very hard, maybe impossible, to ever recover the sort of freedoms peeps enjoyed prior to Blair doing his dirty deeds....The number of new laws alone has been staggering.
