Man City down 2 nil against Spurs. They’ve really looked shit since Pep said he’ll learn from Martin.
-
If he sticks to Russball against Liverpool, then he’s truly clueless. He has to take a pragmatic approach or we’ll be lambs for slaughter.

I can’t see us winning this. -
We've dropped down to 4th place in possession, the good news is that big Jan has the most touches in the Premier League.
-
Mike Dean loves a bit of Saints.
-
Could we sell Russell Martin? Reduce our losses.
-
We don't need specialists. Russell Martin have sprinkled some activated quinoa on Ramsdale's fracture. It'll heal up in no time.

Should have been sacked years ago.

Even my son's nursery school are more competitive than that.

Baffling how many Saints fans are still backing Martin. Check recent posts on youtube, twitter and reddit: We're fast becoming a meme team with all this pointless possession and little to no shots on target.
-
Commentator: "0 shots on target for the Saints, with 71% possession—quite remarkable, really, but also symptomatic of their season."

About time people outside Saints are seeing through Martin's propaganda football. All this possession for possession's sake with nothing to show for it - we're a laughing stock.

The manager would strongly disagree with you, just have a look at the stats.
-
Van Nistelrooy’s pulling a Martin Russell move, grinding his first XI to pad the stats and fluff his CV.

Signature Baz save attempt at 0:35.

In his signing interview he said he was looking for action. Considering how he's getting peppered in goal every game, I'd say he's got what he wanted.

Yeah, but it’s definitely picked up lately—probably because they’ve been watching more of us. " Southampton Honestly, I don’t know if Saturday’s win makes a huge difference to my thoughts on Southampton. They had 65 per cent possession and yet Everton had more shots, more shots on target and, generally, more attacking intent. That has been the pattern of Southampton’s season in general. In effect, the only significant change was that Aaron Ramsdale had his best game since joining the club in the summer and gave Adam Armstrong the chance to score the winner late on. That is notable in itself: his fifth Premier League goal on his 60th appearance. Also of note was how much Russell Martin talked up togetherness again after the final whistle. A fortnight since Martin was castigating players and questioning their stomach for a survival fight, there he was saying: “I have happiness, pride and gratitude with the players, the staff, owners and the board. The way they work, the way they train, they’re an amazing group, I love being here and I want to drag it out for as long as I can.” That’s an about turn." - Daniel Storey.

I disagree, this is the worst Man Utd side since Alex Ferguson left. Not that it is his fault, but definitely no improvement either. The 5 goals they scored against Leicester's reserve team came from indvidual brilliance and random luck.

Martin Russell keeps overcomplicating everything, very lucky to get the three points today. Shocking football.
-
74% possession 0 shots on or off target. We're battering them.
-
We will if we decide to keep it simple for once.
-
This is a must win to redeem what little hope we've got left. I really hope Martin stops fucking about and takes a practical approach to this game.

Imagine lifting this cup - we'd be making history next season as the first 2nd tier side to qualify for Europe.
