Thought the new kit looked decent as well

Might be able to afford some perimeter fencing for their training ground now...

Would agree with that. I thought Manning was decent second half too, but those four definitely stood out. Dobbin looked lively

FT: Eastleigh 1-3 Saints Goals: Dobbin, Oyenkunle, Akachukwu

Eastleigh 1-3 Saints - Akachukwu 78'

Saints XI for second half: Long Bree Harwood-Bellis Quarshie Manning Bragg Matsuki Edozie Archer Akachukwu Downs

HT: Eastleigh 1-2 Saints

Here's the Saints goals

Blackmore going on about Roerslev heading off after 30 min 'isn't good news' even though Tonda said before the game that he would take him off after 30 to ease him back in

Eastleigh 1-2 Saints Fellows assist again. Goes down the right, gets a nice cross in and Oyekunle with a diving header

Tom Fellows cross floated to the back post, Leo Scienza scores with a header. Keeper tried to push it back out but Lewis Dobbin slammed it in

Eastleigh 1-1 Saints

Eastleigh 1-0 Saints Corner into the box not cleared, various people swinging a leg at it and then the shot slips past Long

Jander being withdrawn after 11 minutes after a tackle from an Eastleigh player. Joe O'Brien-Whitmarsh taking his place

Kit looks smart. Can't help but think it would feel more Saints with white socks. Giving me real Sheffield United vibes with the black

First half XI: Long Roerslev Stephens Wood Welington Downes Jander Fellows Dobbin Scienza Oyekunle

Chelsea? Think they do it pretty often. I think a lot of the clubs, certainly the top English clubs (Arsenal, City, Liverpool, United), have been using mono crests in recent years

Alfie House said after speaking to Tonda that he expects to see two different XIs getting 45 mins each Mads Roerslev will play 30 mins before being replaced as they slowly reintroduce him to game action, although his preseason started a couple of weeks before the rest of the group

Confirmed, the actual shirt is on FootyHeadlines today
