I think it's a bit like us with Dibling and Fernandes (obviously Azaz's output vs Dibling's output is incomparable) but in terms of, selling Azaz is giving them hope re: Hackney staying Sounds like they also need a few more players but didn't have much in the coffers to get the deals done with, but now they will have

Here's the Boro forum reacting to the news as it broke - see midway on page 4558: https://www.oneboro.co.uk/forum/topic/13565-the-official-summer-transfer-window-202526-season-aka-azaz-a-saint/page/4558/#comments

...seriously?

Azaz is a central player. Guilavogui plays across the front three, primarily off the right
-
So we've had Damion Downs compared to Sekou Mara having not even played a full game yet and now we're onto comparing Guilavogui to Guly and Lemina before he's even signed for the club
-
Just getting in before MLG comes in here and tells you that Guilavogui is not a world-beater on FM because his current ability and potential ability statistics are not in the world-beating numerical bands
-
That's the spirit!
-
Morgan Guilavogui has agreed personal terms with Saints and didn't participate in Lens training today according to L'Equipe Looks like he is coming in, Lens are just lining up a new signing in parallel by the sounds of the French reports
-
Yeah, you can certainly tell he spent last season having a good crack with Goztepe rather than being coached by RM and drained of all independent thinking
-
Come on mate that's no way to talk about BBD on the counter
-
I'm not sure he is, but what he does do, is play with the intent to drive forward and create opening for others or himself. We have such an absence of that, he stands out like a sore thumb for actually doing it. Need more of that, as WS has said

Bloody hell, is he sending pervy Snapchats to Hampshire school girls too?!

Because they support another team and can see the handballs coming

Head of Recruitment is responsible for organising the heads of scouting, the scouting logistics, arranging and managing the processes and approaches we take, a lot of operational management and presenting options and profiles of interest - the final decision is still taken by the Sporting Director, in accordance with the manager and the exec board to sign off, so I guess that's why Spors was responsible for hiring Lederer, knew he was coming, they've worked together before and they will have been in contact with him before his official start date too, so I'm sure it was pretty joined up in reality
-
Had quite high hopes for him. He was absolutely hopeless

Yeah I agree we weren't sharp and it was sloppy but that's not anything I didn't expect from an early season game with the window still open, soon after an all-time misery of a relegation. The three relegated sides are all outside the playoffs so far, with Ipswich down in 18th. It always takes a bit of time for those teams to click again I sympathise with the journey though because that is one hell of a commitment, so I don't blame your grumpiness!

He's said (many times) that he's not someone who spends too much time on data and statistics, plus the computer game line is lame I don't think we failed to turn up, either. We had 18 shots, hit the post twice and forced a couple of big saves from Johansson. We played our way into trouble with Downes turning into traffic on the first and then got sucker-punched for the second, we weren't on the ropes and clinging on You won't catch me arguing over the passing being crap and us slinging the ball in from wide, but the game as a whole was not the disaster it is being painted as in some quarters, at all. I would like to see the end of the 3-4-3 sooner rather than later and certainly the end of Armstrong lone striker immediately, but I am pretty sure that's imminent enough and will accelerate as soon as we sign the much-needed wide players and No. 10

Quite. Although if there was a way to go behind in a 1-0 win, I am sure Saints would find it
