  1. Get them prosecuted, imprisoned and on final day of sentence permanently deported.
  2. As for the legal representation getting flak, Parsons already cut them off at the knees in the first leg.
  3. It gets worse, the three boys were from a GRT background, have low IQs and weren’t complete morons during the trial. That’s OK then not to issue any custodial element - not. What a naive old fart. Best if he retires though. https://ministryofinjustice.co.uk/his-honour-judge-nicholas-rowland/
  4. As is no custodial sentence for these lads, from Southampton Crown Court. No wonder there’s disgust right across the spectrum politically. Judge Nicholas Rowland needs extensive retraining before being allowed anywhere near a courtroom again. It’ll get overturned but very poor from the courts and costing needless extra money https://news.sky.com/story/attorney-general-receives-multiple-requests-to-review-lenient-sentence-of-boy-rapists-in-hampshire-13546972
  5. Why is anyone raising eyebrows? Have they been living in a cave? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cd6pzg7z319o
  6. It’s not an aura, it’s some not very sharp supporters who even after this episode can’t see or read what’s right under their noses. Phil Parsons is another example - incredibly naive. You and I can actually see the obvious and know that nothing good will come from SR owning the club (best case) and in 5 years’ time there’s a reasonable possibility there won’t be a club to support (worst case) if the EFL or our fanbase doesn’t force their removal.
  7. Because they own the club, are supposed to run it and oversee those who they appoint to senior frontline positions. Like every other football club, large to medium size company, local authority, NHS Trust etc in the country so they are accountable to shareholders, lenders, creditors, regulators, customers and the communities they operate in. Repeatedly they have promised to take more interest, get more hands on to prevent the various calamities on their watch and time and time again they fail abysmally. Only this time, they couldn’t ever cover up cheating remotely properly when the damage could have been limited with basic oversight and club lawyers telling Parsons to shut up. I don’t believe a word they say and past the point where I ever will.
  8. Les Reed put a good framework in place before he went mad, ousted Ronald and though he had re-invented football. That’s why Cortese’s behaviour wasn’t an issue on the pitch, but was costly on the Staplewood renovation project which is why Kat removed him. That framework is missing with SR and needs to return, hence why a senior football consultant on a few hours a week would be essential if SR are permitted to carry on as owners by the FA and EFL.
  9. Having seen the chaos in neighbouring Worcs where the residents have just paid for their xenophobia with a whopping 9% council tax rise, I’m not surprised. Warwickshire is also a basket case as is Kent. Paying through the nose for less services might be the education these areas need. There are plenty of shit Tory and Labour councils too, but Reform councils and councillors are Phil Parsons-level naive from what I’ve seen so far. When they’re not resigning for far right tweets or fighting each other.
  10. Yep, Roy Hodgson as senior football consultant. Could also keep an eye on SR for the FA and EFL because they have to be regarded as a Chansiri/Sheff Weds risk. Pulis on there as well - local, doesn’t want to work FT but a few hours a month would be OK. Cortese’s behaviour was erratic but people forget how much of a structure Reed put in place 2009-16 before he ousted Koeman and started believing his own shit around re-inventing football which is where the current disease started. The structure needs to return and SR are the bank and trading exchange with SFC as the clear anchor club. EFL kicked the legs away, now they need to do the other side of their governance role and review SR’s ownership, insisting on all of the above for conditions of ownership and concerns over the professionalism of how a member club is run.
  11. Time for the EFL and FA to actually do their jobs now and think about whether SR are the fit and proper outfit the PL passed in 2021/22. There are huge question marks over that.
  12. Solak is ultimately responsible, having been a chairman myself the buck stops with him. FA and EFL need to seriously consider whether SR is capable of running a club of Saints’s size and learn from Wednesday and Chansiri. Turkish and French authorities also need to do the same. Certainly, if he’s allowed to keep it, which is highly questionable, I’d want a senior football consultant to pull them through by the nose for the 12 months and keep them clean on a regulatory level and solvent.
  13. Naive as an Austrian tourist in Soho. What morons. Solak is not fit to be in charge of running a bath.🛀
  14. SR’s ability to own and run the club without a senior football consultant such as Hodgson being installed to ensure compliance over the next 12 months and then reviewed over the following 24 to ensure they’ve carried on sufficient progress has to be seriously examined by the FA and EFL. SR need to be under some form of probation by the authorities.
  15. With what’s emerged tonight in terms of the sheer jaw dropping lack of corporate governance and oversight, the FA and EFL ought to be reviewing whether SR is capable of owning SFC as a going concern. There’s serious red flags here around being fit and proper, not least their appalling judgement in senior hiring which have travelled well beyond bad results. If I were them, I’d insist on a senior consultant who would sit on both the SFC and SR boards. Someone like Roy Hodgson to keep an eye on SR for the first 12 months to get the club cleaned up and assess FAPP compliance.
  16. He won’t have a choice, the leaks are emerging and corporate wagons circling. Will be gone by lunchtime tomorrow on gardening leave.
  17. Yep, and fund the new manager right up to the last penny of what PSR allows. If Solak is serious about making a go out of this shambles and regaining any respect, he needs to dig very deep in his pockets or sell up. He dodged responsibility when this came to light just like he always does. Parsons has been pathetically naive and weak, but Dragan should have flown straight in having hatched a plan with the HR, Legal Directors and employed a top tier sports legal firm before Gibson even got up and running. That moronic conversation doesn’t even happen in the first leg.
  18. Their conduct isn’t great, as Derby fans will tell you readily. But Solak yet again has appointed senior people not up to purpose or even basic competence. His judgement is horrific whether football or non-football.
  19. Only on PSR. If Dragan isn’t going to meet Wrexham and Brum’s clout fire with fire, he’s not offering anything else because he’s been a fucking shit chairman.
  20. That’s what gardening leave is for.
  21. I’d feel massively betrayed if I was him.
  22. He’s crap but as someone else posted, Dragan should have flown in the moment it came to light, sat down with the involved parties and Heads of HR/Legal and got the NDAs out. Taylor ought to have been under one as well. Parsons was a naive idiot and needs to go asap but others further the food chain haven’t done their jobs in oversight. It’s why SR need to go asap unless Dragan pledges to put in funding to match the likes of Brum and Wrexham pound for pound over the next few years.
  23. Can anyone blame him? Waxed lyrical about him live on BBC1 and taken in like the rest of us.
  24. The owner is the biggest problem of the lot. Do the decent thing for once - clear the debts as an apology and sell up asap.
  25. As long as SR sell SFC rapidly, they can do what they want.
