  1. As he’s on ignore, I’m guessing that was aimed at me? From the 72 year old Guided Missile (according to Companies House) to the younger, fitter, moderate drinking 40-something poster. And a broken clock is still right twice more often a day than he is. About Truss, Trump and anything else. Enjoy the tariffs on your pesticides John. Have a drink on it, you will anyway. And another 15 more probably after that. On your own.
  2. I heard Duck likes a pony…
  3. Most of the time that’s about right but if your pet has a rare illness only 30 animals have globally that can go south….
  4. We have, since they were young, and thank goodness, because apart from the standard excess John Lewis have been brilliant. But Soggy does make valid points even though our vet has been around the block and doesn’t bombard us with extras, the younger and less streetwise vets don’t miss a chance to upsell. On the human front, it’s similar to dentists. Always selling extras like car salesmen. Which with a filling being £200 around here focuses the mind away from that tempting biscuit…
  5. At least Trump is consistent on those issues, because Truss isn’t, she sacked Braverman during his brief disaster at PM over fears that trying to stop almost forms of migration could stifle her ‘growth plans’. She will do anything for attention and DT is itself batshit crazy enough to platform her. The Mail got burned badly backing her Tory leader election. Hope she carries on, she’s a huge, dry and high visible forever wank stain on the Tory Party’s brand and visual metaphor for their failures. No wonder Kemi is desperate for 🥬 to STFU.
  6. Someone arrested on suspicion of murder for the Worksop 💥 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy0ywpd59pvo
  7. Yep, a fine, albeit larger one. Further incidents and could be a match behind closed doors at the ‘old girl’.
  8. 2/10 for Ramsdale and Fernandes. THB was compulsory. Other than that, draw the curtains. Not good what lies on the other side of them.
  9. Also, his licking of Putin’s arse to the point of chewing winnets, has gained him no more leverage than Biden, less in fact.
  10. Top effort from the lads today, Fletcha in blunting a newish ball and then hundred from Gubbins and Albert playing himself into form.
  11. That really would be a case of ‘watch out, Beadle’s about’. You shouldn’t be able to lose him at set pieces at that height.
  12. Last time was Wembley and there were some good moments last season mixed in with frustration at the defensive helplessness and slow play. Before that, Ralph and Project Restart, played some excellent stuff, and good spell in 2022/23 pre-Villa away. Then before that the League Cup Final and Europe, prior to some horrific football under Pellegrino. Adkins, Poch and Koeman enjoyed watching their teams hugely, the two seasons under Ronald are on a par with 1983/4 and 1984/5 my first full seasons as a supporter for me. Enjoyed Pards team and the JPT as well. Before that, WGS period very good, Hoddle as well. MLT, Bally and Lawrie. 1989/90 some excellent attacking football under Nicholl, a top centre half away from pushing Arsenal and Liverpool at the top.
  13. And created plenty of other problems which weren’t problems beforehand eg tariffs.
  14. Tick tock, 100 days almost up. And that’s 99 more than he said he’d need https://apnews.com/article/trump-russia-ukraine-war-un-election-a78ecb843af452b8dda1d52d137ca893
  15. Trump’s latest clusterfuck in the planning https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cedyylj1v32o Not saying there aren’t issues with big pharma behaviour but along with the huge cuts to the top US medical schools by Doge with Musk not knowing what he was doing, this has repercussions for us all
  16. Would love to but I think he’ll be back up as I suspect McCarthy might decide that he doesn’t fancy another Champ season on the bench. Unless the new manager is Mr Magoo, it’s very likely Ramsdale gets replaced.
  17. Bar coming up with marketing straplines, memes about pigeons and lots of hipster crap from Ankerson. Before that it was old style bullshit from Reed and Wilson. Buying cheap crap after selling any quality. No bullshit about balancing the books in the summer, break the Neves transfer record and have a good net spend on top of what we sell. Clear all of Rasmus’s crap out. The memories of this season can be moved on quite quickly if that happens but Spors needs to be Dragan’s case and shit on Rasmus’s interference. We need new keeper, new CB, new RB, new LB, 2x DMCs, AMC, 2 new wingers with express pace and a striker. And they all need to better than anything else on offer in the league.
  18. That aged well 😂😂😂
  19. Where’s that piss head GM now? Probably at Fratton celebrating their late equaliser.
  20. Ollie Watkins is the sort of striker at the time Saints should’ve been buying, more established PL club at the time but their owners showed backbone which ours haven’t for a long time. Mayen, a squad player for them but with end product, let’s compare notes with Sulemana’s contribution. They’ve had proper scouts and recruitment, we’ve had people with no practical top level industry experience. End result is clear.
  21. He’s clearly out of nick but if it’s a struggle to get it off the square at least drop and run a few singles and rotate the strike until the timing returns a bit.
  22. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwy7eyde3xeo
  23. Ditto Saints as well, get both clubs as assured of promotion as you can be, building a spine that prepares them for the next level. Not a season for ‘balancing the books’.
  24. It’s pretty reflective of the fanbase overall. I don’t think the club still realises the level of frustration at just how badly the club has been run. The applause at Spurs has continued to mask it but unless next season sees the club have a similar impact on the Championship as Birmingham has done League One to make some amends, the fury amongst the fanbase could get a lot worse than this. Personally I don’t feel that the football club I’ve followed for 40+ years is reflective of me in any way but there are plenty who disagree and feel humiliated by the 10 points and Groundhog Day every week.
