Has Spoors been taken in by another fraud of a manager ?
Mboto Gorge replied to Andrew Watson's topic in The Saints
The most laughable thing about this is , I’ve heard that behind the scenes they were giving themselves a massive pat on the back for this signing and considered it a coup to get him at that price, and assumed he’d be coveted by other clubs and demand a higher fee. Absolutely comical- 29 replies

It’s now getting to the point where im starting to actively dislike the club, seeing people like Stephens and Bazunu starting every week , out and out losers symptomatic of the state of the club under these cretins. The tempo and makeup of our squad and style of play is the polar opposite of what most fans want to see in their football team right now.- 29 replies

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg
Mboto Gorge replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
You’ve almost got to laugh though, we spent a couple of years praying to see the end of Mara at this football club, and as soon as we do, the owners spend another large chunk of money on an even worse clone of him -

Exactly. There is a reason why Hulls crosses caused havoc several times and resulted in goals being scored, whereas ours resulted in the keeper claiming everything or their defenders nodding everything away with complete ease, and that’s because they had players willing to get on the end of crosses and put themselves about and time runs into our box, whereas our “centre forward” was incapable of getting on the end of anything, and didn’t really look like he wanted to either. Totally unforgivable and shouldn’t be picked again for a long long time . Not only is he crap, but he clearly lacks the desire as well -

May aswell have Rod Stewart up front at this fucking rate -
The fact that either Ollie McBurnie or Keiffer Moore would be comfortably the best centre forwards at the club, speaks volumes for our striker recruitment. Downs looks league 2 level
-
Exactly. They don’t have the credit in the bank to be making more catastrophic lack of judgement errors like thinking yet again that Bazunu is fine as number 1. He’s synonymous with these charlatans unfortunately as one of their first key decisions was hanging their hat on him being the future of our goalkeeping department.

He also had no strikers instinct either, was always on his heels when crosses came in, barely challenged the keeper on the few times we did get a half reasonable cross in towards the 6 yard box, worryingly it looked like he didn’t WANT to get on the end of anything either. Pathetic signing in a long list of pathetic signings by this joke of an ownership group. The Hull fans couldn’t believe how bad he was and couldn’t believe the amount we forked out for him either. Would be Laughable if it wasn’t our club, but none of us are fucking laughing at this shit show as we lie 19th in the championship -
In all seriousness, surely there’s a limit for how long a fanbase can tolerate being fucked in the arse season after season by this complete idiots. It’s time to let them know this isn’t acceptable on any level . On another level this seasons matchday tickets are an absolute fucking joke too bearing in mind what we witnessed last season, absolute piss take having to pay 30-35 quid to watch Swansea for example. There are no limits to their arrogance . It’s ok though, Dragans pulling the strings now..it’s all gonna be ok especially with spors in charge of recruitment; fuck off

That’s being unfair to useless cunts

McBurnie is miles better than him, which again says it all. -
I absolutely detest these fucking cunts with a passion. Drenched in the pissing rain watching us get torn apart by fucking hull, with a team full of complete pansies who lack any sort of balls or leadership. Congrats you pricks. Just fuck off

Seriously, how bad is this guy? Up against some pretty stiff competition lately, he’s well and truly nailed the “shittest centre forward under sport republic” award in record time. it’s not just his clumsiness, his lack of ability at finishing or holding the ball up, or winning the ball in the air. It’s the fact he also seems to be a complete wimp who isn’t up for a battle, to boot. SR have managed to find the most physically and mentally weak 6ft 4 striker on the planet - when you think who we could’ve brought in to be effective with the budget we have at this level and we sign this left field chump. I was in the Hull end today as missed out on getting tickets in our end, I was behind the dugouts and downs seemed eager to get off the pitch when he was subbed, looked happy to get off, which says all you need to know about him. I’d go as far as to say I never want to see him in a saints shirt again. Even worse than Mara -
I’ve been up here since yesterday evening and it’s been pissing down since midday, going to be very wet underfoot , as it’s forecast to be heavy until the early hours of tomorrow.
-
Indeed. Also those 3 players were very tough competitors with strong leadership qualities too. Seems obvious to be signing these types of players to anyone , but it seems it’s taken a while / having someone who knows what they’re doing in charge of transfers, for this to actually happen again.
-
Our fanbase are one of the softest in the country unfortunately. Even at our lowest point under him, we still had a good 20% of fans wanting him to stay, embarrassing
-
I may be being a bit over optimistic, but I’d like to think we’d use the loan window to make one final low risk loan signing of a striker to add an extra option up front.

Crappy Seaside B&B attitude to business

Is that live footage of Alpine Saint arriving back at SaintsWeb HQ?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0j93z96wd8o this guy can’t stand Martin 🤣🤣
-
My take at the time, was that Taylor wasn’t having Martins bullshit philosophy whatsoever and called him out on its flaws, having spent several years playing fairly successfully under a manager in Dyche who’s the polar opposite.

The rot had set in by then. Yes the players weren’t up to it, but they were coached appallingly. And the straw that broke the camels back for most was that when it was clear that a record breakingly bad season was a distinct possibility, he doubled down on his approach and by doing so knowingly threw the entire football club under the bus to protect his own “image”. There is no world where 12 points is an acceptable return. No one will get less than 20 points this season I can almost guarantee you that.

"There's not enough harmony or care for each other quite yet. We knew that coming in... We have to build that. That harmony has been disrupted for sure. There it is. It’s the fact he’s inherited players with a lack of care and harmony. Still the previous managers fault then.

I’d be amazed if they risked him for the old firm game , given the scoreline today on top of the already extreme animosity towards him. If anything the board have been given a very good reason to pull the trigger now with the nature of the result today. They won’t risk going into the weekend with Martin still there
