Well we have a phew relevant examples to consider, but before that we may as well blow the 36,000 habourdrome idea away = not a chance in hell poopey! Brighton have opened there plush new stadium with top facilities (toilets and everything!), a 22k capacity and a landed cost of circa £93m... The skates dont need to increase there capacity, as redkeith commented, they would be better off with a stadium reduction... With that in mind lets take Doncaster FC and the keepmoat, built for £32m in 2006 with a 15k capacity. It looks like a baby St.Marys stadium and would be about the right size for the skates... building materials and land prices in mind you would probably be able to produce one of these for around £40-45m today... If pompey really want to prove they are the bestest fans of all time ™ they could look at the Colchester model, which is a 2008 10k capacity stadium built for just £14m... it is a lot more basic but has the ability to be expanded to 18k... this would be perfect for poopey as they could show how there uber support has forced the stadium expansion, and if they couldnt do it then they have a perfectly adequate 10k stadium to live in... in todays prices this model would be around £20m. a ground the size of Doncaster or Colchester seems about right for them, but it is clearly a moot point as they clearly dont have a pot to **** in... otherwise they would have paid the administration debts off from the begining, like Herr Liebherr did. Actually the two arent miles apart, after all pompey are the second biggest spenders in the league... they have literally spent MILLIONS and MILLIONS this summer, and thats after earning the disgraceful title of the highest paid XI in the division the previous season... so its either chaotic over spending from the Asian mafia, or criminal overspending by the loan shark and the russian mafia... both a delight to work for im sure... Please allow me to expand on the subject of my dinner on this wonderful football discussion forum To confuse matters further, I did not go home... that was an outright lie on my part... but the pub may as well be primary residence for the context of this discussion To really blow your minds, I went for the Steak and Ale pie, however the wench delivered the killer blow when she chalked it off the menu. After I had picked myself up and got back on my feet, I was informed I could have a cottage pie, and that it would be a hybrid between a steak and ale + cottage effort. I backed the hybrid all the way and I was not disappointed = big lumps of steak in ale gravy, with a cottage pie style dumping of mash on top - top effort from the wench and a turnaround as impressive as Stevie De Riddos blast at the MadStad I had a starter too, not a ****ing clue what it was but I recall a positive experience upon completion of funneling. We have been told differently on here by a phew, but it would appear the national rags agree with us on here that there really is only one team in Hampshire. Of course we have the likes of Aldershot, Basingstoke, Totton, Eastliegh and Poopey, but these are local clubs with much smaller fan bases and stadia/arenas... there is only one club in Hampshire with elite facilities, ****ing marvellous support and a bucket load of potential.
