First off, I don't think Adkins has ever done a construction deal with the club and therefore not like for like. Also show me someone who has stayed in a job for more than a week after having publicly slagged their boss. Ditto the editor of Saintsplayer, it's the clubs PR vessel not a staff suggestions box tbf.

To the subject. Before attending court, the club would have had to filed a defence. This is not a simple debt claim it would seem as we would have appeared to have disputed it. Had it been undisputed the contractor could have issued a Statutory Demand and subsequently a Winding Up Petition. It would appear to me that we have strung this out for as long as possible, to put pressure on a smaller supplier with no real motivation other than giving them a hard time. Pretty nasty and vindictive.

Please keep it to a simple slagging / defence of the club, personal agendas please beat the crap out of each other on Pm as it very tedious for the rest of us.

Any of your loved ones searching around for things to by you for Christmas? I think I may have found the perfect present for all PTS Nutjobs! http://www.expansys.com/logitech-k310-washable-keyboard-qwerty-235586/

Don't worry chaps, Micah Hall will blow the lid on this in 12 months time!
-
Thats the best bit, £5m is only for half a season!

They don't add up. The Few will be fooled by a bar graph (in colour) and literally throw all their job seekers allowance into the PST pot. What we do have now though is an idea on what they are planning to spend. So despite all their claims about sticking to what they can afford they still plan to spend more than they receive. Their previous revenue projections had them packing the park and getting good cup runs, neither of which have happened this year. Like a solar calculator in a darkened room, they don't add up.

My 5 year old has just been pointing out McInnes punctuation errors.

Presuming Chanrai would get the ground in event of liquidation due to his charge, at that point he could pick up some now worthless land on the cheap and claw back. One then assumes the PP would be paid direct to Football Creditors. As it stands, does the loan shark stand to get more from liquidation than a Trust deal?

It's all so simple (just like their fanbase) http://www.pompeytrust.com/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&task=download&id=103%3A20121114pstsupplementlores&Itemid=109 The best Christmas present this thread could hope for!

Were you one of the many lauding Dyer for 'stealing from the skates' yesterday? Do you really think Ramirez, Gazzaniga, Yoshida etc give a **** about Southampton?

Perhaps the police will arrest McClean for his refusal to wear the poppy? http://www.thisiskent.co.uk/Aylesham-man-arrested-burning-poppy-picture/story-17293619-detail/story.html
-
I think he represents a footballer who didn't want to wear the symbol of a poppy. I am presuming it is because he was born in Derry, but that doesn't really matter. In answer to your question, he represents himself. I for one am very glad he can.

Would you agree that Bloody Sunday may not have been the British forces finest hour?

Don't injure your keyboard.

For a man that *****es so much about having his right to 'Freedom of Expression' without being abused that's a pretty poor response Alpine.
-
Reasoning? I wasn't seeking to justify his actions. I am just saying that ironically his decision has probably done more for the campaign than had he worn one....
-
Mr McClean's actions have probably raised the profile of the 'poppy on the shirt' more than any other year I can remember. In the same way the 'kick racism out' campaign got more airtime because players didn't wear the shirt. I would argue his actions have probably helped raise more awareness and funds than a fleeting glance of his shirt on MOTD and the few hundred quid it would have fetched on EBay. Making people do things against their conscious, just because you employ them, is a very slippery slope chaps.
-
If they donated as much to the poppy appeal as they did to their season ticket I might give your line of argument some credibility.
-
This is a huge fuss about nothing. James McClean takes a personal decision not to wear a poppy, so what? The wearing a poppy is a voluntary act, I choose to wear one but can fully accept that others don't wish to.

Given where I grew up I played for Gosport & Fareham schools. The year i was in routinely beat both Southampton and Portsmouth schools. I didn't make it any further, had I grown up in Catalonia I am sure I would now be gracing the world stage.

A win on Saturday and we likely be a point off of safety (Sunderland play Sunday and Villa away to Citeh) A couple of wins and it will start to look very different. if we are still in touch by January we will be ok.
-
They might play their youth team, rather than simply name 5 subs so they have the option to bring in more overpaid journeyman?
-
I think you may have missed the irony in my post.

I make that 9 points from safety.
