And hungry, don't forget hungry... But yes, our employment criteria does seem to be very consistent. I would widen the age bracket to include anyone who is under 25. Mayuka was 21, a full international and ACN winner on joining. Clyne was also 21 and while not a full international had been capped at the highest level below.

A load of natives screaming scummer at me while walking about in Gozo was quite bizarre. Be sure to leave Hugh some merchandise.

It's just over a gb capacity. I believe the videos and documents can be cleared but there is quite a lot of free space even with them on there. It's quite a handy little 'freebie.'

Hey, I'll take that. According to factless we had three promotions in a row. What an age that was. Who could have known that the Skate's habit of re-writing history to meet an agenda could actually work in our favour!

Agreed.

Yes, he has played his part but is now falling down the pecking order. A four of Lovren, Maya, Fonte and Forren should give us sufficient depth at centre back.

While I accept your point about immediate budget, this is £150 million as a capital outlay. With a benefactor of the level where this can be afforded an extra £15 million a year is simply not going to make much difference to them. This also assumes that an extra £15 million a year will be certain, as clubs such as Middlesbrough and Coventry have found, large facilities that do not fill themselves can very quickly become a drain rather then an aid. Putting this into the context of the OP who asked if ground capacity should be upped to back up our continued spending, there simply isn't any logic to it currently as our spending is not dependent on our crowds and the trends in english football show an even greater reliance on TV money and benefactor backing going forward. It is not going to happen.

So can Maya in theory. I would rather keep our players in their strongest positions.

Indeed, but a stadium expansion, while showy, will mean very little, if anything it will just drain immediate budget with a minimal long term effect on turnover if we sustain top flight status. In the very long term and assuming the Cortese ambitions are not b*llsh*t then it may make sense, but in the next 5 years. No.

No. Just no. TV and Benefactor Money > Fan Money

Lets wait until we've started giving a few of these sides a bloody nose in their own back yards first.
-
Never mind that. Polly Jean Harvey MBE. Outstanding.

Just finished this at last after focusing on more important matters for a month or two. Truly superb gaming.

Previously used at Coventry City for Mo Konjic.... a Serbian. Yes, yes, I know. a 'big' club stole a song!!!

Bullsh*t. This is just setting us up for another disappointing transfer deadline day.

That picture alone is peaking my curiosity.

Has to be Davide Astori.

The facebook integration is something I use to share news articles/blogs, but I do not use the forum side of things. Frankly, the sharing I do use would be just as possible by simply cutting/pasting links onto there.

No, they're not are they. The all white would be nice..... if a little MK Dons....

It would certainly be 'interesting.' Only on the condition he has to refund all banned members.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

Grace Park? I greatly approve. And who are those two crimson beauties?
-
No, as pointed out they wear white shorts/black socks. Check the kit history, the black shorts have been a mainstay since we went away from blue shorts in 1950 with white socks taking over since the mid 70's. http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Southampton/Southampton.htm The point is, there is more to identity then just the shirt.

Have been looking forward to this, especially with the interest that we have with two players participating. (Gaston Ramirez and Maya Yoshida, Tadanari Lee didn't make the Japan squad sadly.) Full Squad Lists here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_FIFA_Confederations_Cup_squads The representatives from Oceania, Tahiti stand out as the underdogs, therefore I would love to see them surprise a very people. With all but one of their squad playing in Tahiti itself it will be unlikely. Group A does look particularly tasty, with no USA around this time I fancy Mexico as a dark horse, saw their Olympic team in Coventry last year and they were superb. Not surprised to see Brazil as favourites, particularly at home, but with a weaker group and Brazil's squad really not being up to the standard of past greats I can't look past the Spaniards. It should therefore be Spain + One other from group B, fingers crossed Gaston can show why we put 12 million down for him and get the Uruguayans into the semi finals. Odds: Brazil, 7/5 Spain, 13/8 Italy, 6/1 Uruguay, 10/1 Mexico, 12/1 Nigeria, 25/1 Japan, 33/1 Tahiti, 1500/1 Fixtures: Group A 15/6: Brazil 3-0 Japan, Maya Yoshida played the full 90 minutes. 16/6: Mexico 1-2 Italy 19/6: Brazil v Mexico, 8pm 19/6: Italy v Japan, 11pm 22/6: Italy v Brazil, 8pm 22/6: Japan v Mexico, 11pm Group B: 16/6: Spain 2-1 Uruguay, Gaston Ramirez played the first half. 17/6: Tahiti v Nigeria, 8pm 20/6: Spain v Tahiti, 8pm 20/6: Nigeria v Uruguay, 11pm 23/6: Nigeria v Spain, 8pm 23/6; Uruguay v Tahiti, 11pm Semi Final 1: 26/6, 8pm Semi Final 2: 27/6, 8pm Third Place Playoff: 30/6, 5pm Final: 30/6, 8pm All matches are on BBC 3 or BBC 1 for some of the later kick offs.

As I said last year, it's not just about the shirt, the red shorts and socks are the bit that leave the kit looking foreign. Throw in Black shorts and white socks and it will look a lot better.
