To all those who answered my call for volunteers yesterday; thankyou. Our community led season preview is now ready to read. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?309-SaintsWeb-s-Premier-League-Season-Preview

I heartily recommend the Mass Effect series. A truly wonderful science fiction/rpg epic. Has a bit of a sand-box feel as you do have the freedom to explore rather then just stick to a story. For pure all out fun Just Cause 2 is excellent, the story is just... stupid, but you are given an entire island nation to run around in and take liberties with. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a puzzle/platform/action game with outstanding facial animation and story telling. It features motion capture performance by Andy Serkis and is an undiscovered gem. On the XBox Live Arcade, take a look at Limbo and Braid, two 2D platformers with outstanding graphics and puzzle elements. Also, Trials HD is an update of the old 2D flash motorcycle trials games, it is horribly addictive.

This is why I prefer cats, the dogs WILL kill you.

Yes it would. Carry on.

He grew into his role during his time at the club. Sadly the incident in the nightclub pretty much finished his career here. Against Blackpool in the cup that time he was absolutely brilliant, certainly put Martin into the shade.

They would be an absolute necessity. It's the single weakest area of the team and we are continuing to only be linked with exits. Here's hoping for some old style Cortese surprises.
-
At least he has match experience.

Jerel Ifil was the other, ex Kettering.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Eastwood Goalkeeper, last played for Halifax Town. Rejected a contract at Bradford Park Avenue to join the Skates on trial.

Cheers Frankie. As you are a registered user though this poses a bit of an issue. E-mail me on colinjohnbrown@hotmail.com and I shall elaborate.

Only if you really want to. Thankfully it is something you wouldn't need to leave your computer to do.

But they do have players. They managed to field an XI at Salisbury. They have kids, their time has come.

Going on the rate of the last Plumber I called out on emergency (75 pounds an hour) that's about 3k in 3 months. Take out the employer's cut and that will leave you with very little.

On the topic of 'Their true level.' A few assumptions. 1. They are self sustaining and 2. They stick to their budgets (Big, big provisos..... almost impossible but still) Average crowd of 14k for all home games. 3 home cup games a year @ 10k. Sponsorship income of 1m per year. Other income also at 1m. That puts them at a budget of about 10m for a year. We can be generous and say 15m to include any TV money, other income etc. A realistic level for club wages spending seems to be at about 60% of annual turnover. That will give us 9 million pounds a year. In a squad of 25 players that's an avearage of £360k per player. Or £7k a week. They are championship at best on this basis. (It's a vastly simplified model though, I grant you.) It puts the whole economic model of football into context too.

Now, this is the type of Skate that I do sympathise with. His comment about cutting cloth to suit is however something that I doubt they would ever want enforcing with their club, because then it will reveal their true level.

Yes, I came over all blue for a minute.... It was a very odd experience!

You're right, they'll revert to type. Because they are idiots.
