According to an article dated yesterday. I get a feeling that there are so many games being played that we'll never know for sure if/when things have definitively fallen through, the only conclusion that could be utterly defined would be the succesful conclusion of a transfer.

The daft scale of this thread should give you the answer you seek. It's the usual blend of emotions, there should be no doubt of the type of impact this guy could have but the mixture of disbelief, aggresion, amusement and defensive behaviour just shows that even the most negative of people on here dearly want a coup of this type to happen.

So we have a massive game of financial brinkmanship between Cortes and the Chairman of a club who are doing a passable impression of Skate bookkeeping being played out on two fronts. In private and in public media in an attempt to force more juice from the deal. I know who I trust to do best by our club, better to stand firm rather then make a precedent for being a soft touch.
