  1. We've had one taker so far, two more would be very helpful.
  2. Just as well really.
  3. Three volunteers needed. First come first serve. PM me if interested, no-one who posts in this thread will be accepted. Thank you. Col.
  4. Neil Shipperley scored? That truly was monsterously freezing.
  5. It's interesting that the news articles seemed to have restarted again. Something MUST be close.
  6. Tunisian international, Ammar Jemal, is about to finalize his transfer to the English Divisional team, FC Southampton. Until obtaining a work permit, it has met the medical examination. After a fairly successful first season with the Young Boys Berne, the former resident of the Etoile Sportive du Sahel has not failed to get into a tussle with his club to leave Switzerland for a new experience . He ended, presumably, for to succeed and seems more than ever ready for a new adventure in English. Ammar Jemal will not be out of place among the "Saints" because regain his former teammate selection Radhi Jaidi. Finally, note that the start of the Championship (second division English) is planned for this weekend. For his opening match in Southampton, will face Leeds United.
  7. I wonder what Gorkss wage demands would be like.
  8. Well, I had my 18th birthday party, with buffet, a few hundred quid behind the bar for my mates etc IN the local pub in Colden Common. The landlord knew.... as for the locals... they just assumed it was my 21st.
  9. No way De Ridder would leave so soon after signing.
  10. Just hope this signing completes soon. I'm just itching to write the news article headline.....
  11. That would be superb. Two birds, one stone. etc.
  12. On the off chance anyone is interested, here is my full round up ahead of this season: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/entry.php?62-2011-12-Championship-Season-Preview
  13. Relax a bit, and have a bit more confidence. Things will be a lot more enjoyable that way.
  14. He may con-fez that he could do better then us reading comments like that.
  15. A few for me, all games i've been to. Pahars v Charlton, November 2001. My first game at St Mary's and our first win, magic. Crouch/Prutton v Liverpool. February 2005. We comprehensively destroyed the soon to be European champions. The game that sold Crouch to Benitez. Camara v Norwich, April 2005. The noise of that celebration will stay with me forever. Bale v Coventry, August 2006. Superb free kick and bragging rights over my neighbours, lovely. Stern John v Sheffield United, May 2008. Wonderful game, an absolute rollercoaster. Forte/Barnard v the Franchise. April 2011. The moment I knew automatic promotion back to the championship could happen. All v Walsall. May 2011. What a wonderful party.
  16. On tele, people still on Holiday, money is tight right now etc. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's circa 21,000. I remember the first game of the relegation season against Blackburn, very similar circumstances and we only pulled in 27,500. It won't be a sign of things to come, it's just an awkward time of year.
  17. I would suggest that the 'Wall of Fame' is a little more desperate. 'Own your own piece of Fratton Park.' Leave it long enough and you can own all the rubble your heart could desire, surely!
  18. This happens a lot in Coventry. I was nearly caught out by a Taxi driver who breaked hard while pulling away from a junction for no reason. I managed to react fast enough to avoid hitting the guy but the poor woman in the antiquated Fiesta behind me had no chance, she went into the back of me but thankfully only cracked her bumper (there was no damage to my Seat, bumper technology has really come on nicely.) Despite there being no contact the Taxi driver parked up and put his hazard lights on, when he saw there was no evidence of damage and thus nothing for him to go on he went on his way. The girl in the Fiesta had been had before by a taxi driver and was livid, not angry at me at all because she was thankfully paying attention.
  19. Can anyone remember how long it took to sort out Jaidi's work permit?
  20. Careful chap. Be brave.
  21. Nah, he'll be fine. He's 'suited.'
  22. I am eagerly awaiting updates.
  23. India all out for 158. A victory by 319 runs. Utterly superb.
  24. 'MLG Mode enabled' How about Graham Taylor's Watford at the end of the 90's?
  25. 107-7. Goodbye Tendulkar.
