  1. He is not brain dead, he just wants their votes, he'll say whatever they want to hear.
  2. 'If they posted on their own forum they might actually get ten posts' Anyone care to link them to this thread?
  3. Hope so! I need to somehow get one of those old White/Grey away shirts that are absent from my collection.
  4. Oh, they are going to LOVE the Football League. Welcome aboard Skates.
  5. It was my understanding that we did the opposite and took all branding/merchandising in house in order to maxmise long term revenue!!! I'm sure we all remember the 'Saints sportswear' crap.
  6. Half time entertainment? You mean things happen on the pitch at half time? I'm too busy at the bar to notice.
  7. How can he not 'get it' either? There are not an unlimited supply of people with more money then sense who want a football club! And even if they do want one it has to have some assetts to begin with! It's so easy for him to say 'they need someone proper to buy them' and dismiss any role he played in their downfall. Contemptable slimey little man. Just like the rest of the oiks that have been involved with the running of that place.
  8. Agreed. I regularly fly to Malta, in the past it has been a choice between BA and Air Malta. Now there is no question, I will not risk flying BA in case of strike action. Flying isn't cheap, knowing that services will be stuck to is essential.
  9. Tehy almost definately/certainly/maybe/almost/never/kinda/always have no chance of being saved.
  10. Hmmmm. Chainrai: 'Do you have the proof of funds yet?' Saffas: 'No' Chainrai: 'How about now?' SA: 'No' C: 'Now?' SA: 'No' C: 'Now?' SA: 'No' C: 'Now?' SA: 'No' C: 'Now?' SA: 'No' C: 'Now?' SA: 'No.......'
  11. It'll all come out on the forensic accounting reports on his expenses. Don't worry.
  12. Possible But only just, it shouldn't be an expectation. We now do have the best team in the league and should just enjoy the games we have ahead of us.
  13. HA!!!!!!!
  14. This makes no sense whatsoever.
  15. Indeed! He almost makes us Tory boys likeable.
  16. As football fans we are inclined to fear the worse, i'm sure you understand.
  17. What happen to Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes? She was beginning to grow on me quite a bit!
  18. Frankly, it was a miracle for Southgate that he retained his job for as long as he did. Nonetheless, what a shocking lack of conviction by the Boro' board, he should have had at least a season to turn it around, although the fans had well and truly turned against him.
  19. As a thought, the Skates going bust in a world cup year...... One team per week would then rest, if it's a team with an england player then it will help prevent him from burning out. In the interest of patriotism they must fold immediately.
  20. Oh, I think he does, just he is pathologically incapable of taking responsibility for anything he is associated with. The man believes he is teflon. Say the right thing and it will all go away.

    Stoke City?

No, Burley sold him. Another baffling decision on his part.
  22. 'Run in a similar way to Chelsea' Kinda, the difference being their owner has the money to spare. What an odious little man, incapable of admitting fault for his own reckless behaviour, even going so far as to say he was 'soft' with Redknapp. Slimey b*stard.
  23. Massive, massive club, they obviously do have the best fans in the world, just look at how they get behind the team when needed.
  24. hmmmm, any idea what kind of 'Statement?'
  25. The released him and we signed him on a 6 month deal.
