Ok, I have loads (and loads) of old Football and F1 VCR's I have recorded from tv. It's coming to the time when I want to put these onto a more up to date format. So I am considering buying a VDR/DVD all in one that will let me copy them, I do have a few concerns though. 1) I understand there are some copy restrictions on VCR's. Will this stop me from transfering the old 'Off the tele' tapes onto DVD? 2) Any recommendations for a unit to do this? Also: 3) How easy is it to record from Sky onto DVD using such a device? Cheers

You should be able to find a pub with Sky Sports, it's pretty common out there. If you need to though (as a last resort) there is a Pub in Qawra, a very short walk from the Bus Terminal down Triq il Touristi called Murphy's, it has over 5 teles and access to both Sky and Italian football channels. It will undoubtably be available there.

For a start, they should fire the guy that though the Rickie, Papa, Lee and Me off to Wembley (or whatever) thing would be a good idea. It is the most painful thing I have ever seen. Cut the b*llsh*t and focus on the football, it's why we are there, just tell us who the teams are, present highlights of past games and maybe some interviews, anything else is a waste of resources.

I have seen a lot of these flags/banners/whatever down in Southampton when I have been down for recent home games, but what is the furthest afield these have reached? I would like start by saying Hi to the guy in a black BMW 1 Series driving down from Nottingham, along the M1 and down the M69 past Coventry, who basically went in convoy with me while I drove home this afternoon! Can anyone do any better?
