Do you sit in the Family stand?
-
- Unwatched Children, even in the family stand. A football match is no place for youngsters to run riot, they need to be supervised and looked after. - The dreadful, dreadful beer. Enough said. - The pre-match 'entertainment.' Cringeworthy boll*cks. - All the anti-skates songs. We are Southampton for gods sake, they are nothing but an inconvenience and don't deserve validation by us crowing about them. - Screaming Children, shut the f*ck up you little toe rags, you should be seen but not heard. - Singing 'You dirty northern bast*rds' to Midland teams. It's just not funny. - Crap referees/officials etc. - Jermaine Beckford, lightweight, over-rated and in for a massive shock when he moves to a club higher up the leagues then Leeds.

Oh dear.
-
It is possible! Football can do this from time to time. Swindon are no mugs, I think sometimes we do need a little bit of a reality check here. Yes we can be capable of some startling football but we need to keep our feet on the ground and put the effort in.

Time to get the cheque book out.
-
Just back from Football training, see i've missed nothing much! Come on boys!!!!!!
-
I've heard the beer is strong in Swansea, now we have definitive proof of that.
-
It's no excuse, it's a fact. For the first ten games we sucked. The league doesn't lie though, as it is based on overall form. God I can't wait for next season.

They are all mouth and no trouser, particularly now their viagra has been removed.
-
Yep, that strop really accompanied his series of fluffed chances well! All he has is pace and the ability to get into ok positions. He has no composure at all, I look forward to him getting found out at a higher level. He is a poor man's Rob Earnshaw.
-
If you must, the truth hurts, I know.
-
There were consistent crowds of beneath slightly 30k while in the prem. We didn't have constant sell outs. We did shave it pretty close mind!
-
Ok, you've lost me now, do explain.... And, as far as i'm concerned, to be mooting the idea of leaving a UEFA 4 Star standard stadium while we are at third teir level is rediculous.

Will you go when we reach the promised land...
Colinjb replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
Wigan are a prime example of clubs that do not merit top flight football. Even more so then Fulham, the Skates and Blackburn. Even taking us out of the equation there are so many clubs in the championship/league 1 that should be pushing for the top flight and have fanbases that in older times would have sustained it. -
Comedy (like all art) is subjective. You sir are a snob.

I would dearly, desperately want to go, but 40 quid a ticket, as well as the travel costs from Cov? And (all going well) at a time when I may be starting a family of my own? It just couldn't happen. Sky and Match of the Day would keep me sane, thank goodness attendances have negligable effect in the Premiership on club's sustainability and plastics will crawl out of the gutter to take my place. -
Wow, I had no idea it had progressed so far! Last I heard about it the planning permission request had been submitted to parliament. Great news for them, will be great to see how they progress once they have settled in.
-
Have the plans for repositioning the away end been reconsidered at all?
-
Talksport did the same.... I was screaming in delight on the A34 when I heard. Imagine my horror when I got to Didcot.....
-
I believe it had a shakedown run at Santa Pod or something.
-
I'm pretty sure that the Gustav Brunner led 2001 Minardi arrived in Australia having only completed a shakedown run (if that..... From what I remember they were completing their second car for Tarso Marques in the garage only the night before first practice.) It was nowhere near Lola levels of bad, indeed, in the hands of Fernando Alonso it performed some very respectable performances.

What happened? When was the ceasefire declared?
-
HA! What are they meant to do? HMRC: 'Your bill is £XXXXXXXXX, may we have it please?' PFC: 'Hold on........' HMRC: 'We really need it now......' PFC: 'Yeah yeah, bare with us........' HMRC: 'How about now?' PFC: '...............................................................................' HMRC: 'Hello? Hello?......'

Is there really any need to have this pre match and half time drivel?
-
I can't believe that. We just steamrollered one of the in form teams in our league.
