  1. It was ugly, it was scrappy, it was one of the worst games of football I had ever seen until Papa Waigo came on. BUT WE GOT THE JOB DONE. That, frankly, is enough for me.
  2. Just got my first taste of the game. Loved that I could resurrect my old badass Commander Helena Shephard and continue her rein of terror. The boring lift loading screens have gone. The new map system is not very good. The new ammo/heat sink system is a lot more conventional, which is a shame. One of the new female lead characters (Miranda) is fantastic. The 'denial' twist in the story is frustrating. I am hooked already though.
  3. He went to the Skates because of David Coles. The club was irrelevant to him, he is a proffesional sportsman after all, not a fan. To tar him like that is also to tar Bobby Stokes and Mick Channon. This discussion may well prove to be irrelevant anyway.
  4. Presumably then all players will not be paid either until one of the bigger transfers goes through. And if that doesn't happen by the end of today.......
  5. I would feel sad to see him involved with that car crash. He is the best keeper I have ever seen, he will always be a legend in my eye as a result. I would never boo a player who has given me the joy he has.
  6. So, it's an iPhone but 5x the size. Why not buy a laptop/netbook? Or stick to the iPhone you have already mortgaged your granny for!
  7. Ahhhh hahahahahaaaaa: http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_5891344,00.html
  8. SSN: 'Peter Storie admits his role at the club is almost untenable.' No sh*t sherlock. But of course, you have nothing to do with the problems, oh no.
  9. He's had a rather eclectic career. Starts at Wimbledon, joins them at the MK Dons after the move only to be realsed, a token appearance for Lewes and Fisher Athletic (!?) later he joins Barnet, only to join Plymouth and then rejoin the MK Dons on loan to go full circle. Random as Hell!

Hamster! Beyond saying how delighted I am to hear this news I'm not sure what else to say. Either way, now the tension has been relived enjoy the good times! On the flip side, massive condolences to MB, life is sadly a lottery, a reminder we should all make the most of what we have and that we should reflect on the rough and the smooth with the same compassion and understanding. My warmest regards and best wishes to you both here. Col x
  11. You should be mate, before this season the last activity I had was member in 05/06 and Season ticket holder in 04/05. I had a purchase history for many games in the mean time though. I was on the database.
  12. Linked = you must buy tickets for another game at the same time. Unlinked = It's just for the derby.
  13. I will never ever ever buy the Southern Daily Echo ever again. I find them biased against the club I support and will never fund them ever again. Yours. Colin, 25, Coventry.
  14. Moving the away fans to where the 'Family Stand' section is at the moment makes perfect sense, although where the 'family area' will be now who knows. Moving everyone over to the Northam end and ensuring everyone can be secure that we have one end completely to ourselves is an excellent move. All in a good write up of an encouraging meeting.
  15. Taking everything into account, that's probably as fair as it could have been
  16. Points dropped. Annoying.
  17. Prutton scores on his debut for Colchester.
  18. I feel for them genuinely. I want us to strengthen but not at the expense of a club like this.
  19. The ScrewAttack video review is rather in depth. They, predictably.... LOVE it. http://screwattack.com/videos/VGR-Mass-Effect-2
  20. Players will want to come here when we are in the CCC. League 1 has no sex appeal. Can't comment on the Prem, because I have no idea how our wage budget would fare up there.
  21. I have in business. I've also seen a few colleagues 'do a Leeds' in that respect.
  22. A very good point. I would suggest our (false) league position has an influence too though.
  23. I would say it's more arrogant to assume negotiation has concluded before the paperwork is signed sealed and delivered then to gazump.
  24. No absolutely not. Mention the Saints v Skates game and they think it's just a friendly meeting of neighbours for tea.
