As I said his performance at Coventry was one of the best centre back performances I had seen in a long while! A key aspect in any wannabee Cb has to be consistency, he had none.

He was dire against Palace but he was awesome away at Cov the same season. Was sad to see him go, he had a lot of potential but was a bit erratic.

Good post. Currently I consider him an asset. He reminds me of a raw Kenwyne Jones, a real live wire who lacks composure and frankly, a bit of ability. However, he is a perfect impact player for the standard we currently play at, also his endeavour in defensive scenarios is a valuable asset, his removal from play and the inclusion of Owusu-Obeyie on Saturday was a definite turning point. He is an athlete first and foremost, not an out and out footballer. He is not young enough to be someone I could see properly developing into a consistent asset for the future. So, as I said, he is an asset right now, and thanks to his loan agreement, I doubt he'll ever be a liability.

So, I need a new one, have a limited budget and need to know what equals a 'good spec.'
