I don't hate them. I don't hate anyone based on the club they support. I do pity those that take it so seriously that they do react in a rude/violent manner to someone just because of rivalry. It does amaze me that these feelings exist so intensely between our clubs. I was in the Trafford centre yesterday and saw people in the shirts of all of the north west clubs. No comments where heard, no vitriol, just mingling. If it was Fareham and people where so brazen to show their colours it seams it could be a riot. Yes, I want us to beat them, yes I want the natural order restored, but frankly football is entertainment to me, not something worth all that negativity.

I watched a startling documentary about life on ITV 2 the other day. Its study of the behaviour patterns in modern human social situations was fascinating.
