Example Championship prices up the road from us, small ground that they fill easily compared to us with plenty of seats , family prices look excellent
-
Tickets on sale to all season ticket holders, I'm not able to login to see how many are left or if this make it to members but could be a chance for some who are looking for a ticket
-
Vardy has been a magnificent servant for Leicester but he'll never be forgiven for leaving his boot in and injuring Van Dijk in 2017, cost us the league cup I think, we'd have beaten Man Utd
-
Odd one really, we sent 1000 tickets back but still sold out 2,255 a couple of weeks ago so could have taken more , good support really
-
It is greed. There's plenty of other events at Wembley throughout the year
-
I don't think any owners know about football, Man City's certainly don't, it's about paying the right consultants and employing the best people available to make those decisions
-
It's a huge game and I'm shocked it hasn't been picked by SKY They could have hyped it up, "El Crapico" in the build up The reverse fixture was the most upsetting of the season for me. Racing into a 2-0 lead at half time and sensing perhaps things were about to click we were then treated to a Russell Martin masterclass of fuckwittery conceding in 90+8 to lose 2-3. Leicester later sacked the manager who had at least made them competitive, the league table since Dec 22nd is quite something 😳

I completely agree and his connections would come in handy in lots of ways, Kuti can take over the catering, Vindaloos all round at half time
-
I think Wrexham will go for it, have a shot of giving Disney the Premier League fairytale and their sponsorship deals dwarf those of others in Championship, in fact if it wasn't for parachute payments their income would probably rival ours. They'll make a fortune playing out in U.S pre season again and have big international deals.
-
Completely agree, greed has ruined it, FA don't want the cost of paying to use someone else's ground, plus the Club Wembley corporate memberships include all England games, league cup final, fa cup semi finals and final, they don't want to dilute that income. Palace v Villa should have been at Emirates or Tottenham, Man City v Forest perhaps Elland Road or Hillsborough

I log on to this forum far more than I should do, but don't once recall reading a post by you and thinking "this person knows what they're talking about "

I thought Palace were excellent on Saturday and think they set up the right way to give Man City a good game, have lost interest in the Cup final last few years but think I'll make the effort to watch this one
-
I think other teams would approach it much more pragmatically than we did, Luton would be a better example, still go down but gain more points than us.
-
Unfortunately Villa had the momentum and have leapfrogged us with game in hand still, we won’t catch them now
-
I've heard Dragan wants a quick sale due to change of circumstances and is going to list the club on Facebook marketplace later today
-
Takeaway from that is don't bother getting a Premier league season ticket
-
We love gifting late goals don't we. Is it fitness? Lack of attention? Ipswich Leicester Brentford Palace Fulham I'm sure there have been more scoring in stoppage time at St Mary’s this season, we've seen it time and time again

Focus starting to turn to next season and some interesting games to look forward to , - South Coast Derby, seems such a long time since we were in the same division - another localish game, A34 derby with Oxford United, last time we were in the same division late 80s ? - Wrexham, aka Hollywood FC, we've hardly ever played them in our history, last time in same league 1959/60 , played then in league Cup 1979 , can't be many Saints fans who were at that. Who knows what will happen at Leicester financially, also Sheffield Wednesday (have they paid players yet?) few places still to be decided in relegation battle and league one play offs, some good potential trips with one of Wycombe, Stockport, Charlton, Orient or Reading to come up. Promoted Birmingham and Wrexham are expected to invest in playing squad, will be strong I think. No obvious clear favourites, I'd probably say Ipswich if they keep players and manager.

Is that our back 4?

Lap of honour first
-
9 goals in 31 appearances, bet Torino are happy with that for a free transfer
-
I watched the Burnley v Sheff Utd game, just couple of observations - reminder that standard is really not that high, lots of scrappy play - BBD looks like he's not having much impact - watching Burnley fans celebrating, i can't imagine myself getting excited like that for promotion again, suppose got to enjoy the moment of joy whilst you can despite knowing what is to come
-
Yeah or might not actually do full 1000, seems like a warning to put off those tempted to make a quick £££ by buying just to sell on. If I need to collect will definitely aim to get there before the coaches arrive
-
I remember the last game at The Dell, we had those bus pass style season ticket cards that just needed to be shown , nothing scanned or ripped out, some in the Archers were able to chuck their season ticket back over the wall or push under exit gate for a mate to then use same ticket again, modern tech probably stops that but no doubt the scallies will have a few tricks up their sleeves
-
I wonder if they are doing it as a deterant as logistically collecting that many tickets before a midday ko will be tricky, those travelling up on the day won't have loads of time pre match. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25106588.southampton-aim-bust-ticket-touting-historic-everton-match/?ref=socialflow#
