Football Special

Fair. He's not Guido Carillo level but for 10 million or whatever we paid for him he ranks highly in the what a waste of money XI , I've heard he's not the most popular lad around Staplewood due to bad attitude. Anyway if he does stay I hope he makes an appearance so our fans can give him a standing ovation again 😃

Jeez, he's up there with the worst signings we've ever made pound for pound, I'd be happy getting his wages off the books.

If anyone is 50/50 on getting a membership the thought of logging in to their inbox and discovering a lovely email from Saints about a retail product launch could be the clincher

Was that Bazunu missing one down low to his left?

I agree, and no chance of Stoke bringing 3000 fans so they need to find a way of putting excess seats back on sale to home fans Also price behind the goals and in corners seems to be the same for A and B games which doesn't really make sense

Wrexham pricing Stoke pricing

They should confirm which fixtures are A , B or C as whether a membership is good value could depend on whether those Cat C games are attended

Ah yes can see Stoke prices now updated https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/southampton-v-stoke-city

Cheers. Also says Stoke on sale but no.prices for that one yet, will be interesting to see how much we charge away fans https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/wrexham-and-stoke-city-tickets-on-sale-to-members-tomorrow

Just FYI Eastleigh have said the game is unsegregated (despite Saints having an away allocation) and tickets are still available to buy directly from them https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/Tickets/SelectType?fixtureId=11729

There's no news on match pricing yet is there? I'm sure Wrexham and Skates will be Cat A Interesting to see if they tie the Pompey game in with others like priority initially when also booking for one other home game in Aug / Sept.

Thanks. Would be a great story if Stewart did the job for us but feels a big gamble with his injury record and limited experience.

I agree with this. Archer definitely needs a strong McBurnie type forward to create space for him , if he was leading the line without support in the championship he'd be too easy to defend against and offers nothing in the air. How many games has Stewart even played in the Championship to be considered proven?

That looks a weak forward line to me

Didn't the Turkish owner fly a load of fans out for a free holiday after he bought the club? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-63772774

Wrexham have a lucrative sponsorship deal thanks to their huge global exposure from Disney documentary, particularly U.S. market. they can offer sponsors a lot more than other Championship clubs

Look at how other clubs are setting precedent for accounting tricks, spend a fortune, if needed sell your women's team to a sister company to plug the gap. If you have owners willing to spend their own money it's quite easy

Agree, nothing to get excited about and seems like usual gamble on a young player hoping he comes good

Actually Derby seem to give over 3k should make members sale as will Birmingham and WBA being midweek I think, Leicester usually give 3k that would likely make it to members

Bristol city might make members sale if they give us over 3k again (it's midweek again) also Ipswich might due to being midday Sunday on tv. Will really depend on tv picks and size of allocation given, they'll almost certainly make members sale for Hull, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Preston (unless we're winning the league) , Norwich. Rest will almost certainly sell out to season ticket holders regardless of tv date / time.

I do that most Sunday mornings anyway so count me in 👍🏻

Need to make sure Wetherspoons are open and serving 7am

Like Everton away again! Sunday midday becoming a regular kick off time for us

Ipswich away on a Sunday midday is awful for travelling fans as well

Still a pain for home fans that rely on trains to get to games, buses also fairly poor on a Sunday morning, home atmosphere will be disappointingly flat and sober for such a game
