  1. Sport Republic Out
  2. Someone should send our Swansea friend the highlights of our last FA Cup appearance as a Premier League side....if we managed to lose to lowly league two Grimsby anything is possible
  3. I agree, I think people are struggling with the psychology of continual defeat though. Just a few months ago I've never seen the fan base on such a high, guess it's too much of an extreme swing "If I hadn't seen such riches I could live with being poor"
  4. Was it these lads?
  5. Me too. Weirdly the 4th round draw will take place whilst our game is going on (after Arsenal v Man Utd) so we might not want to get through depending on opponent
  6. Went bust didn't they? Basically a ponzi scheme
  7. And Diallo who was an invisible man on the pitch
  8. Talking of Premier League records I've seen this shared online, "Premier league all time table since it begun 1992" not sure when it is up to but certainly shows some context that as a fanbase we're not one of those "just happy to be here" clubs.
  9. Hope he keeps them up at the expense of the skates
  10. Imagine scoring a goal like this now 😳
  11. I feel quite invested in the championship relegation battle, if Oxford stay up that will be another localish game with small allocation (1400), now Rooney has gone Plymouth might make a go of it also small away end (1600) Looking forward to it 👍🏻
  12. Hopefully in the interest of fairness they give priority to those of us who were there for the 7-1 defeat in 1996 That Man City allocation was funny, Rupert Lowe made a formal complaint and we got £10 tickets the following season for the new ground
  13. I reckon with our relegation confirmed the club will come to some agreement with Everton where we just get 1200 upper tier tickets to allow more Evertonians to be there for the emotional farewell
  14. I'm already thinking about next season getting 1000 allocation at Kenilworth Rd, 1200 at Wrexham, maybe 1800 at Wycombe, need to keep those away games up!
  15. Hopefully they get to see us win or *at least* score a goal , new format of the FA Cup so even if it's a draw you get more value for money with extra time and perhaps penalties, that could be comedy gold watching some of our players take them.
  16. Luck of the draw, that's the magic of the Cup. Getting me excited now, will need to dig out my cardboard cut out FA Cup covered in silver foil for the BBC cameras on Sunday
  17. We've already got to one cup 1/4 final this season so we shouldnt be greedy expecting another run
  18. Sounds like his move to Sheff Utd is very much on, shame as I think he could have been ok for us in right circumstances, never really recovered from the head injury he sustained first game of the season
  19. I'm still scratching my head about it, can only assume they were given instructions for a game plan they really didn't understand
  20. To be fair we do have a LONG time to plan and prepare for the championship, can even start scouting future opponents. Bit off topic but who do we want to come up from league one? I'm not a fan of the Hollywood documentary but would like to do Wrexham away , something to look forward to
  21. You'd have thought Juric would be desperate to get a win under his belt and will put out his strongest XI, whatever he thinks that is
  22. Yep and Sheff Utd v Cardiff is 7pm Thursday, terrible what they've done to this competition.
  23. Lol We've got Selles, Ruben Selles Actually got more points in the Prem than Jones, Martin or Juric to be fair
  24. Looks like we've sold about 6000 tickets, doubt it will rise much higher, I know we don't have a fans spokesman but clearly a "boycott" going on, we had about 23k in the same round last year v Walsall (pricing was better and sat 3pm) not many expected to travel from Swansea either. 4.30pm on a fucking Sunday evening just so BBC bloody Wales and BBC iplayer can show it , I'm sure millions will tune in. I'm ashamed to say I have a ticket. Still clutching on to the old days when the FA Cup conjured excitement in the fans.
