  1. Nice to have a massive away allocation, shame it's miles away with a lunchtime kick off. I reckon lots will buy on the off chance there's something to play for but might not bother going if it's all decided by then https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/preston-north-end-vs-southampton-2526
  2. I dont think tickets are free , it is coach travel thats free (id rather not go on the bingo bus to be honest)
  3. Best song ever. Although we might miss out if Goztepe finish in a Europa league place in Turkish league
  4. Very few tickets left for this one now , our last Saturday home game of the season, how mad is that
  5. Middlesbrough have some nice home games v Pompey and Sheffield wednesday as well, hard to catch
  6. Despite injuries they'll have Carlton Morris and Sammie Szmodics up front , not too bad
  7. I agree, Eustace will set Derby up to frustrate us, could be a slow game at times, hopefully like Oxford we can get an early goal. Derby sold out their 3,008 allocation pretty quickly and see this as a big game with them still in with a chance of the play offs, a win would bring them level on points with us, 6 pointer. Will be watching Norwich vs Ipswich pre match
  8. Just back now, exhausting trip , amazing result. chatted to a few Wrexham before the game who were very sound, knowledgeable fans, one old boy approached me coming out of the ground to congratulate us on victory and said we were the best team he'd seen visit the Racecourse for many years. Nice to take the compliments.
  9. I think they have TV slots confirmed already, something like Saturday 5.15 and Sunday 4.30, once tv companies make their choice the rest follows
  10. Agree, although let's see how Hull get on tonight, i thought Cov looked like they were low on fuel Friday vs Derby so will give them a chance.
  11. That's interesting also for Larin's chances for the World Cup. Derby also lost Brewster to injury last week for the season so thats three main forward players out for them potentially for Saturday.
  12. I think we'll be pipped to 6th place by Derby, been a rollercoaster of an afternoon
  13. Derby worry me. Unspectacular but set up very well by Eustace, they'll grind some wins out and are "in the mix" for sure, next two fixtures are absolutely massive in the play off chase
  14. I appreciate it's unlikely but the council should be giving some thought to the open top bus route
  15. As things stand 9 points off 2nd with two games in hand , it's happening
  16. Yeah very steep in my opinion , semi finals involving Man City regularly well under capacity, not surprised they dont want to pay those prices every year
  17. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25996254.southampton-fc-post-53-9million-loss-2024-25-financial-accounts/ Some interesting numbers , doesn't seem to make great reading and Alfie mentioned on podcast yesterday unclear if we breached PSR or whatever its called now. We've made a few sales since then and got wages off the books Cup runs would have added some extra unexpected funds this season with trips to Anfield and Wembley, hopefully Dragan has sorted out his business troubles.
  18. He's done an incredible job, when he came in I think most fans had given up on promotion and the focus was shifting to Sport Republic Out protests. Players looked like they dreaded playing at St Mary's Look at us now I can't remember a turnaround like it within the same season
  19. I remember it well mate, beat Arsenal in the 1/4 finals didn't we as well, no one gave us a chance with Van Dijk out and Stephens/ Yoshida in defence, but we had some luck and Puel had us very well organised, what a night. We have a few players in the squad like Mccarthy, Stephens, Romeu who will remember those cup runs of 2017, 2018, 2021, plus others who experienced the play off final so won't be overawed by the occasion Felt a bit deflated after the draw but reading your post reminds me got to be positive about it, I'll be there with the kids as well , genuine landmark game got to make the most of it. It really struck me at Man City v Forest last year the City fans were just going through the motions, many leaving early to beat the queues , hardly any celebrations at the end , just numb from all the success
  20. Are you a member of Northern Saints? Drop them a message, might be able to help you out I actually think tickets won't be too hard to get anyway
  21. At least we dont have to worry about Man City fans buying in our end, it will be quite an unattractive trip for their fans who will be tempted to save their cash for the final. FA might have learnt a lesson and lower ticket prices? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c14xyegjzv3o
  22. It was same last year, I saw some of it before heading to Wembley, didn't seem to make any difference to match day other than lots of people with medals congratulating each other on the tube
