If he's touch and go with his groin I'd not risk him for this one, let him have a rest

In the next 3-4 weeks we play the top 3 , Coventry, Millwall then Middlesbrough, need some luck keeping our best players fit for that run of games , hopefully Fellows won't be out that long

The official FIFA world cup thread
Football Special replied to Stripey McStripe Shirt's topic in The Saints
It's disgusting. If I had my way an alternative world cup would be set up, like FC United of World Cups, with all actual normal fans going to that and leave the sham FIFA corrupt event to be played out in empty stadiums with corporate fans wondering where everyone is. BOYCOTT -
Was Jelert loan just until January? Can't see that being renewed James Bree due to come back in Jan as things stand as well
-
Back in the summer I made the point that the club's relationship with P&O cruises should be utilised more, bubble trip to Fratton on board a luxury cruise liner would have made more sense , nice sailing along the Solent

Almost every game you see these huge chunks blocked out from first min of sale so you know they can't be sold already, club should provide proper explanation. If we have section left empty for this or the Oxford game for example it will really piss off those fans who miss out. I notice Arsenal fans were kicking off about 1/3rd of their allocation for Bournemouth away was held for corporate accounts etc, AMF

I login to the app every game just to vote for Joe Aribo , my Saints credit score must be high 😀

Winds me up this, it's become a running joke at away games to move and stand in the empty block , often in a prime spot, I bet there will be more at Norwich in addition to this chunk of 25 seats put back on sale, shame if other fans who might have gone miss out
-
It's a fair observation, but they got rid of the manager responsible for most of that bad run, since Clement was appointed they have started to look better Lost one in last four. Last home game was a 3-1 win against QPR who currently sit above us in a play off spot.

Just read we are 2nd highest scorers in the division, blimey (before this evenings games)

Takes me back to the 93/94 season I think it was, super Ken Monkou , what a game
-
Sounds like he should miss the game along with their other striker https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/162566-kvistgaarden-injury/

That's what I recall although can't be sure , they are doing their best to make all round experience as frustrating as possible
-
Last few minutes crowd woke up a bit but for most of the 2nd half if felt like the crowd and players were just clock watching
-
Not sure if the club have advised on parking , assume area around St Mary's will probably be ok in industrial estate etc?
-
Norwich showing signs of improvement under the new boss, certainly not expecting the same scoreline as our Carabao cup fixture earlier this season Perhaps a 4-4 draw
-
Shea Charles isn't far off from returning
-
He looks like he has no intention of winning any 50/50s, just drifts around, don't understand him as he's a strong lad but has no desire to battle for the side
-
Loving the run of wins but can Tonda please sort out these sloppy second halves , that was so complacent tonight but follows a pattern where we take our foot off the gas and fall apart a bit. Is it just subs or tactical ?

It's Archers birthday today as well, back him to score when he comes on after 60 mins

You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone
Football Special replied to Monk's topic in The Saints
And appeared at the World Cup draw as a legend so nice recognition for him -
A few options would certainly have helped. Let's assume most of our fans don't live walking distance from St Mary's, and public transport is virtually non-existent that time on a Sunday, going to be a lot of taxis being booked to St Mary's first thing, don't think first bus where I live runs until 9am into town

The early arrival at Fratton is a good point, I'm told when skates came to us in September they were allowed to buy beers and take them out into a fenced off area, apparently spent the most of any away following we've had so club were probably happy to take the £ Facilities aren't quite the same at Fratton, don't think they sold beer last time we went, not that I want to spend anything there
-
"The club realises this may inconvenience some supporters, but it is necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable matchday for all." I don't want it to be safe, half the fun of Pompey away is it isnt fucking safe , thats the bit we look forward to ffs

Ha bit late in the day, I think they need to rethink pricing for these midweek games , particularly in winter, live on sky , non-season ticket holders just won't make the effort. Should have offered cheaper prices up front as now that will just annoy people who have already paid full price
