  1. Can see Spors asking the Fans Advisory board to pick for him
  2. I can't see it myself, got points but nothing to show he's a genuine long term manager , tactics were still all over the place today
  3. And a gap above the Skates, we'll take that for some positivity 😇
  4. All the usual problems were still there today, difference was Sheffield Wednesday were so poor and we had that touch of luck (what a finish by Jander for the first goal!) Very nice to see some goals and a winning feeling but if we're honest we look nowhere near a promotion team. I think Ipswich will go up with Coventry but play offs could be anyone's
  5. Formation doesn't matter. As long as they have hungry eyes Eckert Out Sports Republic Out
  6. It's what I've been told by a Wednesday fan, I expected them to bring more as well for a Saturday 3pm but apparently under 2k travelling
  7. Having a small first team squad has been a blessing for Sheffield Wednesday as they've been able to field a settle starting XI and build consistency, however I hope today with three games in a week and long journey down that it's a game too far for them and we can take advantage
  8. Sheffield wednesday bringing about 1900 today. About 1000 more than Preston did
  9. I'd say will be a similar crowd to last week , maybe a bit higher due to Sheffield wednesday bringing about 1000 more than Preston did but usual big areas in the home end closest to away fans, I'd guess at 27,800 as attendence today
  10. Put yourself in the players shoes, you would feel inspired would you not? Or maybe it was just before lunchtime and the players were actually starving
  11. He'd get booed walking out the tunnel at his first match, will never work Sports Republic do seem to be trying to deliberately sabotage the club so obvious choice for them
  12. That Fan Advisory Board is a farce isn't it
  13. In the league I think the last time we won by more than one goal was WBA home play offs? Lol
  14. Well everyone knows how to direct their protests on Saturday now, and the fact Dragan has continually allowed Rasmus to have such a say makes him just as responsible for disaster of SR's decisions
  15. I actually think a draw is most likely, our home form is so bad it's off the scale and Sheffield Wednesday have really impressed me this season, they barely have a first team squad and have gone back to basics, very well organised with an exceptional work rate they have picked up 8 points this season which is impressive considering players weren't even getting paid first couple of months. Very good draw away to WBA last weekend Prediction 1-1 Yan Valery to score a screamer for them.
  16. "It's a great chance for 3 points against a mismanaged club in chaos" ........ Said Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen
  17. I hadn't realised the whole gang were there, can't be they just fancied a lads away day, I'm sure location helps not far to Heathrow, they must have combined it with a Sports Republic meeting probably at a hotel to discuss plans for the club
  18. It could be, also better if he starts then can't be booed when coming on and more likely to be cheered when going off
  19. Agreed, also looked like Aribo tracking back two or three times just gave up chasing the QPR player on the ball, I know there's been all sorts behind the scenes with his failed move but what appears to be a complete lack of fitness is quite shocking for a pro.
  20. You didn't miss anything first half!
  21. Completely agree. Very poor quality game and certainly nothing to suggest the team have improved as such but nice for things to go our way for once and move us above the Skates and some distance from the bottom 3. We're still incredibly frustrating going forward , desperately need a new signing first day of January up front
  22. Got to still give it a go of course. But where will our goals come from? Sneak some 1-0 wins and get to January to recruit?
  23. It never made sense to me, he was happy at Luton and never technically 'applied' for the job, we relentlessly persued him and paid Luton £4M to release him which was big money to them at the time, he even implied he compromised from doing things his way at Saints so someone was meddling in the background I'm sure when appointed reason we wanted him so much was the stats again, best performing manager per £ spent on a low budget at Kenilworth Road Criticism should have been at those making the appointment (Rasmus)
