Got TBH I like the look of this guy. Good positioning, wins headers, gets forward and quite vocal. I can't believe I'm saying this but SR might actually have bought us a decent player. I feel dirty.

I'm not sure people are saying it's just negative, but that we want to see less about very small and relatively insignificant activity and more focus on the critical signings that Saints need and for which they have had months to sort out. Because if SR don't do the latter, we're screwed and these deals mean nothing.

Isn't part of the problem that we're still debating what to do with AA when he should have gone the moment we were promoted to the PL, given they already knew he wasn't good enough at that level. For me he's the epitomy of everything that's wrong with SR transfer policies. They have created their own mess and don't seem to know how to get out of it despite the appointment of Spors.

AA has zero confidence, needs shifting on. He never recovered from handing that shirt to the woman who bet against us. BBD just awful. Stewart - maybe but probably not. Archer - who cares. Downs too early to say but this is not a squad that is going to fire us to promotion. SR better get their cheque book out quick. Otherwise they need to step aside and let a genuine investor take us forward. I really hope they are not going to fail to address the obvious weaknesses in the squad. I like Still, he come across well but he needs backing.

Take that all day thanks. Three unbeaten given we are still in flux is better than I expected and plenty of commitment from the players. Desperately need some new, hopefully quality faces in before the window close. If we do that, could be an exciting season.

Pretty sure people are referring to the journey needed to get there and back in midweek, rather than the standard of opposition. Maybe more winnable of course, although PL teams often put out their weaker teams.

Mixed feelings. Still buzzing from the result but we still seem to be patched together at the moment so the next two or three games will be a rough ride. RB position looks weak and who's going to replace Charles and Downes if injured? We've got plenty of strikers but is there a 20 goal player there. I guess/hope these type of things will be addressed over the coming weeks. Appreciate AA was a mistake but that aside, plenty to ponder still. That said, they'll be confident going to Ipswich.
