  1. They’re down to the bare bones squad wise. Put in a strong performance by all accounts tonight.
  2. So is everyone “Tonda in” tonight? 😂
  3. Rasmus is heavily involved in the club. Power struggle with him and Spors. Spors effectively looking for the right players for the manager/squad have to be approved by RA’s “black box analysis”.
  4. None of the players that are regulars in the squad will be leaving this window. More likely to be your Edozie’s, Aribo’s, Fraser’s etc
  5. WE ARE STAYING UP SAY WE ARE STAYING UP
  6. Second top scorer for us, stays a lot about the rest of the squad 😂
  7. Our second top scorer, he’s not had a terrible season
  8. I actually think Johannes Spors, as much as his transfer signings have been a bit hit and miss, and his two managerial candidates not being that great, I actually think he’s doing a lot of his work with one arm tied behind his back. I 100% think there is a power struggle between Rasmus Ankersen and Spors in terms of football oversight/responsibilities.
  9. He’ll probably go at the end of the season. It would be foolish to let him go now. Wreckless in fact.
  10. Sport Republic want a head coach. Not a manager. For that reason, prospective candidates will either be desperate or content to be a scapegoat, a yes-man and have a quick pay day six months later.
  11. Everyone slags off Adam Armstrong despite him for years demonstrating he is good at this level. Those same people will be moaning and whining if we sold him this window and we had Ross Stewart and Cameron Archer to finish our season. 😂 Ronaldo he isn’t, but he is still by far a stand out player in our squad. Likewise as I mentioned on the last page, could you blame him for wanting to go? He was messed around last season with Juric and the club, chucked out on loan when we’d have been better off keeping him. Also ask yourself, if you were a player would you want to be around this bad smell of a club right now?
  12. That table makes for uncomfortable reading doe the bottom. It’s the same every year, there’s always a splurge of teams at the bottom that start to pick up points in the new year and then others get dragged in that you were expecting.
  13. “BuT tHe XG sUgGeSts…..”
  14. I wouldn’t blame him. He isn’t the problem. The problems run a lot deeper than him. Given that he has been the most creative and scored our goals this season you can’t slag him off in that regard. I wouldn’t want to be at the club if I was a player.
  15. Absolute bollocks. Some very outlandish views from them
  16. I couldn’t ever see what Ivan Juric was trying to do with us. There was no distinct style of play or anything like that. He was poor. Will Still was just very bland in terms of his style. Slow, horrible. But I did clock how for him it was about just chucking crosses in there and hoping something would come off. Tonda’s tactics just involved slow sideways passing across the back, whip into a CM, quick one-twos between another CM and ST dropping deep and then someone running through. The problem is, that was sussed about seven weeks ago, and there’s been nothing different since. All too predictable
  17. I don’t think we’ll make much change because it’ll be plainly obvious they’ll be changes in the summer again. I don’t see Spors sticking around. Tonda won’t be here come July 1st.
  18. Surely if the stats say we should’ve won and we didn’t that means you’ve failed at your job?
  19. I’m sure we’ll feel the multi-club model benefits of transfers any day now.
  20. I always quite liked this design (3rd kit from 2018). Fully expect Sport Republic to sign off on some hideous designs. I would say that maybe at least nine of their twelve kits under their remit have been pretty awful.
  21. I mean, now with Russel Martin you could argue that because of his Rangers stint. But keeping someone and building a squad over time is better than scattergun chopping and changing. It’s all ifs and buts. Juric was crap. I’m sorry but he just was. There was nothing he did that inspired any form of difference or change. He dropped Flynn Downes when he had his sulk, that’s literally it. I couldnt see what he was trying to do, certainly not trying to win games.
  22. Agreed. Excellent podcast as always. The Bazunu point mentioned could be applied to any of our squad.
  23. I reckon we’ll make maybe one more loan and that’ll be it.
  24. I don’t think Juric would’ve been beneficial in anyway. There was no noticeable change in style of play or aggression or attacking intent after he joined or during his tenure. He was no different to Tonda Eckhart in the grand scheme of things. You could argue that sticking with Russell Martin would’ve been the way to go. Look at Ipswich, still with Kieron McKenna - they started slow but will win the league without a shadow of a doubt now.
