  1. Scienza is the most attacking player on the pitch. Expect his to get subbed at half time for not doing as the regime demands.
  2. Pass, pass, pass, sideways constantly. On a side note there can’t be more than 26,000 there today, so many empty seats
  3. If we played like, say, a Nuno Santos style of football I’d be all for it. I’ve seen nothing in a year to suggest we’re even close to that.
  4. Five st the back in any home game is appalling. It must be mentally draining for a player to be told we’re going to set up five at the back despite being battered with that formation for two thirds of last season.
  5. I’m hoping he picks the team today based on their natural positions and not to be edgy and catch them off guard, eg Fellows at RWB, Fraser at LWB etc. He needs a win today if he wants to be taken seriously.
  6. Sorry to hear you’ll be going, I hope you have a word with whoever bought you the tickets! Jokes aside, happy birthday, fingers crossed for three points.
  7. I got a text last saying “Tickets are still available and we’re happy to offer you £5 off”, and I wanted to respond “great, that’s still £25 more than I’m willing to pay”. 🤣 Swansea will defend deep, I think if we get a couple of wins in a row it’ll come together, but it’s just not happened yet. Being unbeaten is a start, just need to put teams away. Armstrong, Archer and Scienza have to be the front three after Derby, play through the channels and not balls into the box and we’ll score. I must be still a little hungover, but I’m going to say 2-1 to us today. Armstrong will score and Fellows will get one ten minutes from the end.
  8. The negativity sometimes annoys me from AL but ironically he is probably spot on with this one
  9. I don’t think it’s been queried but they were training with the team in the days after the window shut.
  10. There is no truth in this whatsoever. This account has been called out for bullshitting before and making shit up. If anything I suggest people call them out on it. Probably another fucking teenager that’s spent too much time playing video games.
  11. Danny Rohl there his toys out the pram at the start of the summer, let’s be honest he was angry no one came in for him which led him to resign. He did ok at Wednesday but I wouldn’t say he is anything special at this stage.
  12. If Dom Ballard scores 25+ goals this season then yes you could argue he was worth keeping; but it’s not like he’d done anything prolific at senior level before. He had a nasty injury which set him back, and also being prolific at U21 level doesn’t mean you’ll make it at senior level. This could be his ceiling. Really pleasing for him to be having a good spell of form but let’s not get carried away that he was in any way worth keeping at this stage.
  13. If only there was a sell back clause for Downs
  14. Steven Gerrard has turned down Rangers. He’s been quoted as saying “I cannot fix this shitshow”.
  15. Redmond went to Turkey for a good payday and spent a year or two out there. He then went to Burnley but was injured a lot of the time.
  16. I does frustrate me the “gung-ho” attitude of drawing a game or losing and then chucking on five strikers for the last ten minutes of the game to salvage something.
  17. Don’t listen to TSP then. I mean it’s all opinions but I’d say the chaos on TSP are excellent and very level-headed with their views. There’s a small minority of the fanbase that think we’re a Europa League level club and quite simply we aren’t, we had a good few years but no more than that. The infrastructure is there for it but the management has been woeful. I think this season is going to be the year of change, I think it’ll be very up and down and I think we’ll kick into gear at the end of the season, whether it’s too late by then who knows.
  18. That’s decent, didn’t actually know that
  19. Project 2025 has been talked about for years and shit tons of it is happening. Purely the rich getting richer and not governing for the people. The country is a mess, and won’t be getting better any time soon.
  20. Got to say I disagree in regards to Alfie House. As a local journo he clearly wants Saints to do well, what benefit would he get in spreading bullshit around? What does he gain by sharing his view of saying the manager probably hasn’t had enough time - which I think the vast majority of the fanbase would agree with. In regards to calling out the club or those in senior positions, the two spent a couple of days with Dragan Solak in the summer, yes there is propaganda about and the club won’t want anything slagging them off but again wouldn’t you rather have that “in” to the club than not? At least then when the club say they’ll do something you can then call them out on it. If Saints were to sack Will Stick say in the next day, or week or month; or Saints are bottom of the league then they’re obviously going to write articles and challenge. It might also be worth saying that both Alfie House and Adam Blackmore called out Russell Martin more than once which got up RM’s back.
  21. Can we just start an annual Hunger Games of Reform and Tory members, let the idiots take each other out. 😂
  22. He was signed before Sport Republic took over. The takeover went through in January, we signed him in the August four months or so before.
  23. McCarthy; Jelert, Woods, Quarshie, Manning; Charles, Jander, Azaz; Armstrong, Archer, Scienza Best team we’ve got in a 4-3-3 formation. Fraser unfortunate to not be in that.
  24. I think we were all taken in by Dragan Solak's comments in the summer, we thought the line had been drawn in the sand about what a shambles the previous few years had been. We are miles off of it. We thought we'd get ready-made players for this league and for the most part I think we do. Azaz, Fellows; even Scienza and Jelert are more than capable of performing at this level. But they also weren't positions we desperately needed, bearing in mind you still have Edozie and Aribo on the fringes, Robinson breaking through and plenty of other players that are more than capable for this position. The bit we have messed up on again is a competent and trustworthy goalkeeper and a striker. Ross Stewart is not it, yes he has been unfortunate with injuries but you can't be relying on promotion on a player that spends most of his time injured. Equally you don't bring in a striker to appease the fans who has done very little in general and still very young. I want a striker who has a bit of muscle, who pts his body about, who fights for the ball and tussles with defenders. Downs isn't it either. It is still very early days and it could all come together but honestly who knows, I think we'll be in this iffy phase up until new year and I think we'll finish stronger. I think we'll finish anywhere between 4th and 8th. We have good players, it just needs to click.
  25. Ralph Hassenhutl is light years ahead of Will Still. That’s how far we have dropped back.
