  1. James Ward-Prowse not in the squad for Burnley on Saturday. Scored a good free kick for the U21’s during the week, although the opposition keeper chose to set himself fifteen miles away.
  2. Can see a flukey Leicester win to bring us back down to earth. But then I think we’ll beat them on the cup down here.
  3. You can’t deny he’s turned things around in the last four games, fair play. It was only three weeks or so ago he was being questioned about whether he was right to lead the team into Sheffield United and then the Portsmouth game.
  4. Seeing Newcastle capitulate despite all their oil money is extremely satisfying. Even more satisfying is seeing Jacob Murphy handball for the penalty.
  5. Called it months ago 😇😉
  6. I reckon you need maybe 25-28 more points to make the play offs. Being brutally honest and despite or recent showing, I still don’t see us getting that, we’re way too inconsistent and fragile when the going gets tough. We tend to have to rely on a terrible team to let us win to get us back on track.
  7. Teams will be taking points off each other in the play off mix, and March is I’d normally the time when the relegation threatened teams start to pull their finger out too. It’s going to be an interesting one.
  8. Another multi-club model benefit!
  9. This entirely. But he isn’t our problem, so he can enjoy the life of luxury and being remembered as a “meh” player.
  10. DT has just punched a table in anger. 😂
  11. He was worlds above Ross Stewart, and that was in the two minutes before his goal.
  12. Without these two, we don’t win a couple of our recent games. They’ve been excellent.
  13. Anyone got a summary of today’s presser?
  14. Premier League are suggesting it should be twelve points.
  15. It’s a daft rule, but you can’t change it mid-season. Cup-tied players I used to understand, but nowadays it’s pointless because the game relies so heavily on player trading. I still think it’s wrong that we don’t have cup replays when smaller teams rely so heavily on the ticket and TV revenue, purely because it inconveniences the bigger teams and their hectic schedule. The irony is there isn’t much difference in terms of games played, especially when you get the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham that bigger overseas for a pointless friendly. Even their players must find it ridiculous.
  16. Need to send this data to Rasmus, clearly it’s been missed by the SR boffins 😂
  17. I’m sure he’ll be heading to Goztepe, or certainly somewhere in Turkey in the summer.
  18. Got to laugh at Chelsea. First half of Arsenal v Chelsea was long, drab and dull. They’re being skated for playing the least attacking game ever. They spent the six minutes of second half stoppage time walking it to the edge of the Arsenal penalty area, and passing back to their centre backs. Then Arsenal countered and scored a solitary goal. If that is Rosenior’s normal tactics then my god, that was a hard watch and good luck to Chelsea. Who on here wanted him as manager? 👀 Passing it around almost as much as Russell Martin teams. 😂😂
  19. You are the only one that has suggested or even alluded to him having a bad attitude 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 Who are you gonna have a vendetta for next? Move on, it’s embarrassing.
  20. I think most would take James Ward-Prowse back. I don’t think he will return now unless he becomes a Romeu style signing in years to come. I’d rather have a player of his experience and love for the club than Joe Aribo. 😂 We’d be lucky to have him back.
  21. I find it incredible Sam Edozie is still here.
  22. People saying they’re glad Adam Armstrong has gone will be the same people in a few weeks time saying we should’ve kept him 😂 Sport Republic have somehow found a way of making us worse this window.
  23. I heard Sydney Sweeney was in the stands for the Stoke v Saints game at the weekend. Got no evidence to support it, mind. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  24. I’ve only read one other person suggest that on this forum. Never in any other news outlet or social media. IF that was the case then good riddance and goodbye. Personally I don’t think that’s the case. But the other side is he was a decent striker at this level, very adaptable across the front three, scored some exceptionally key goals for us two years ago, and never kicked up a fuss publicly like some of our players have. Good luck to him, thanks for Wembley 👏🏻👍🏻
  25. The hype this guy got a year ago by some fans; he should never have been near the first team. He wanted out as soon as we were relegated, he never deserved to be given a second chance after we got promoted. Horrific attitude. Good riddance.
