  1. The 65th minute substitution tombola is coming up…
  2. Hahahhaaaaaa! That was terrible! Saints are awful. But we’re winning on XG right?
  3. Bristol City look poor. But then what does that say about us.
  4. Three centre backs continues to work a treat. Bristol City score with their first shot.
  5. Azaz and Fellows left their respective clubs and since then their former teams have thrived. So actually, did we buy two of the best players in the league or…?
  6. Roerslev not getting in speaks volumes. I think we have to accept that Edozie and Aribo won’t feature again. 2-2 I reckon for this game, I think we’ll click again up top, but in no way are we keeping a clean sheet.
  7. When was the last time you posted something constructive? Or positive?
  8. Agreed, I don’t particularly see what he’s said or done wrong. Speaks very well on TSP, and certainly isn’t reactive like half the people on this forum.
  9. I reckon he’ll start against Bristol City tonight
  10. Danny Rohl has hardly pulled up trees. Didn’t he throw his toys out the pram a number of times at Sheffield Wednesday?
  11. Last nights podcast was excellent. Very level-headed and common sense than some of the reactionary few you get on here and social media. Yesterday was a good performance, I think you have to look at it as we didn’t need the big money signings to dominate, we were very good. Will Still didn’t do anything particularly wrong, the back five is frustrating, but you can’t deny we’re getting a tune out of players and creating lots of chances. It’s purely the finishing that has let us down, that you can put down to the poor recruitment up front, not Will Still. Always a good listen TSP.
  12. Money talks
  13. I was hoping Leeds would sack Daniel Farke after the Championship promotion, he’s someone that would thrive for us if he was out of a job. He’s another I would have over Russell Martin.
  14. I wouldn’t be opposed to not going up this season and building on what we have. We still have two years of parachute payments after this one so financially should be in a better position to blow teams out the water. It would be (should be) mental for us not to be automatics this year given how much better our squad is (in theory) to the 99% of the teams in this league but I honestly don’t care.
  15. Carragher probably feeling a little more rattled now, who does he blame Liverpool’s poor finishing on? The officials? 🤣
  16. I think over the next couple of weeks Downes will start, he’ll have one bounce in off him and then he’ll get a few. I’m not saying he’ll be prolific in anyway, but it’s similar to the team as a whole. We’ll score one or two goals or get maybe a couple of wins in a row and it’ll click.
  17. You can tell Carragher and Liverpool are one and the same, absolutely rattled when things are going against them. 😂
  18. Totally agree. The chopping and changing needs to stop.
  19. So are you classing everyone who disagrees with you as a “dweeb”? The Championship is so unpredictable that we could be bottom at Christmas and yet still win the league. You're the fan equivalent of that nutcase Marinakis at Nottingham Forest who expects success after four matches. No patience, and in need of one huge reality check.
  20. 2-1 to Bristol City. It’s never been a great place for us to go. The Will Still agenda to rumble on. The we should’ve signed a goalkeeper agenda to start up again after McCarthy gets beaten at his near post. Is it on TV?
  21. The same Carlton Morris that got relegated twice in two seasons? Jeeez
  22. I think defensively as a whole we look a lot better, but then again it was a low bar after the past couple of seasons. If you’ve seen any of Will Still’s previous managerial stints it’s been initially about shoring things up at the back and then building forward. Attacking-wise we’re creating enough chances, it’s the finishing that has let us down. Will Still isn’t on the pitch. He isn’t the one tapping it at the keeper, or skying a penalty. The recruitment for the position, a striker, that we needed most he has been badly let down.
  23. Are you Kieffer Moore’s agent, @AlexLaw76? Never known someone to get such a hard on for a player who we were never linked with and seemingly hasn’t pulled up trees since his pay day move to Wrexham.
  24. Players and staff cannot hide behind the “last season was poor/they’re still hurting” forever. Eventually you have to turn around and go “we’re fucking better than that, time to right our wrong etc”.
  25. Let’s be honest if we’d signed Kieffer Moore or Oli McButnie in the summer, as a Saints fan you’d have been pissed off. It’s only because our strikers have been inconsistent or that they performed against our inept defenders that it’s being talked about.
