The Championship this season has been exciting in the sense of everyone has been shit at one point or another that it’s competitive. There’s been no standout team, despite Coventry winning the league. It’s been an incredible weak roster of teams, but that’s what’s kept it interesting.

Coventry have been a poor team for some time, they’ll take a pounding in the Premier League.

I’m sure they’ll be more released, I’d have thought the FA wouldn’t want a half empty ground

Scrappy 1-0 win. Hoping for a Boro draw, let them both drop points, the pressure is on them, not us.

My prediction is: Millwall 2-1 QPR Swansea 0-1 Southampton Ipswich 2-2 Middlesbrough Southampton 1-0 Bristol City Stoke 1-2 Millwall Charlton 1-2 Ipswich Middlesbrough 1-1 Sheffield United Leicester 2-1 Millwall Middlesbrough 1-1 Watford West Brom 1-1 Ipswich Southampton 2-1 Ipswich Ipswich 2-0 QPR Millwall 2-1 Oxford Preston 1-2 Southampton Wrexham 2-0 Middlesbrough Not sure how that would leave the final table points-wise

It’ll be interesting to see how we set up for this, I can see the likes of Bragg and Stewart starting this so we have Downes, Larin etc for Ipswich a few days later

I think we’ll get more points than those around us

Got a feeling we’ll put up a good fight for this game

Bristol City and Swansea away are my only real concerns for our remaining games. But when you look at other teams fixtures I can’t see many getting more than us.

Everyone will have their own ideas of how the games will go, teams are going to shit the bed, and I don’t think it’ll be us. Any predictions?

Blackburn tonight were one of the worst teams I’ve seen play live in twenty plus years of going. That said it was nice that we didn’t have to break a sweat and had the options to change things. Ringing the charges again and then even taking off the likes of Bree at HT for Wood, who made some fantastically timed tackles. Larin is excellent, whether we’re in this league or not next season he is an absolute unit that we should 100% be considering permanently should finances be there. Peretz once again very good, a commanding goalkeeper who can use his hands, basics. Love it. Charles and Bragg decent in the middle, Charles looks so casual and at ease in the way he plays. Cam Archer, when his name was on the team sheet I raised an eyebrow, but he was MOTM tonight. He kept beating his man in the first half, excellent assist. Second half you could see he was trying to hard, maybe a tad selfish on one occasion but deserved that goal. Another routine and professional win, draw a line, move on, plan, prepare and go again. Second is there for us!

Scrappy 2-0, not clean, not pretty - but similar to Oxford, try and kill the game off early and then limit their attack after that.

Ipswich aren’t that good, they haven’t been that good all season, it says a lot about the quality of the league.
