If Saints went out to get a manager from a lower league they’d be riots. Can you imagine? 🤣 Michael Carrick seems the best of a pretty average and available bunch. But again, lives up north. You have to take into account you have some managers who are quite happy to upsticks and move and some that still want the right balance.

Pretty much what I’ve said for weeks, couldn’t agree more. Everyone calls for Will Still’s sacking but most fail to come up with any realistic candidates. It’s slim pickings out there unless SR pull off a masterstroke of an appointment. But we all know they won’t.

That’s my biggest concern, if he goes they’re 100% bringing in someone “edgy” and underwhelming.

I think if we’d played four at the back and attacked and lost you’d be pissed off but could see they were having a go. Ive got two pages open, reading through the match thread having been at work; and once again he’s brought it all on himself, shit tactics and negative football. Caught the tail end of his interview on Solent, he sounds like a guy who knows his time is running out and fast, but also alluded that there’s a lot that needs to change at the club.
