I've never actually lived in Southampton, (except on alternative saturdays for many years as the song went "...we all live at The back of Milton Road, the back of Milton road""!!) but my life story so far .... Born Rookwood, Eastleigh 1958-78 Arnold Road, Eastleigh 1978-79 Desborough Road, Eastleigh 1979-80 6 months in digs in Christchurch, and then 6 months in Burton just outside Christchurch with the future Mrs EoA. 1981 someplace that i can't remember the name of just outside Poole 1982-85 Doha, Qatar (2 different flats) 1986-98 Abu Dhabi UAE (3 different flats) 1998 - present day Dubai. Although i only get to spend a month a year in it I've had a bungalow in Leigh Lancashire since 1988.

That has been my pre match watering hole when back, for the last few years .... and I'm not beardy or smelly .... but I'll give you the weirdo bit

I was once in The Rock Bottom Bar and saw Jonn Burridge belt out some pretty good tunes on The Karaoke, which was quite unexpected. A bit later I saw DubaiPhil warbling along to The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star..... which was most certainly unique I think they awarded him the prize to stop him singing
