Oi less of the smutty talk ... I'm trying to listen to the game Not impressed with Mellis coming on considering Holmes or Waigo also available .. not more than 15 mins left so fitness shouldn't be a problem. Punch up on the field, not looking good consultations between the officials , Thomas yellow ... AL gets away with raaising his hands and Thomas can count himself lucky as well. Where the phuck is our midfield :cool:

VT 1 Dulwich 0 .... Come we haven't heard how Bomo are getting on for 5 minutes ... God I hate this commentary We really need to change things around. Lambert has beeen starved of service, has our mid field touched the ball in the last 20 minutes Charlton break away and mis a sitter then moments later hit the post. FFS change things NOW. Trotman urging more from his team mates ... and he is a loanee, come on the rest of you.

Phew Offside offside offside offside. LOL last player to touch it in was offside when it was probably going in anyway We are getting torn apart wide, why don''t we try the same on them ... attack best form of defence. Challenges flying in now ... Mills been crunched 3 times now, lwading to 2 bookings, but we must keep our composure. Why does Merrington talk in hushed tones as if he doesn't want anybody else to hear when talking about tactics

Invoke the Manager of the Month curse on Parkinson maybe

Same happened to me just now came back into the room after getting another beer from the fridge only to hear a loud cheer (obviously the home team had scored) and '"it's in'' etc fearing the worst but luckily it was Bomo going 2 up  A bit of a scramble in the Charlton box but we can't get a clean shot awaay.

A bit difficult with litttle happening and the quality of commentating. They spend most of their time chatting about what has already happened raather than what is actually happening Charlton had their first moment of flowing football but ended up with shot going out of the ground Ref gives a dodgy free kick to them 22 yds out So far we have survived 3 corners Free kick comes to nowt but Bomo are 2 up

Got fed up not being able to reply to stupid comments when my 3 posts were used up and posting the next day wasn't the same :smt112 Can't take credit for your early arrival although I was working a bit later. A nice slow version of OWTS in the background. .... the commentary is driving me nuts already

Hi Phil ... cider  WTF happened there thought we were one up.... Nearly cracked open a London Pride, but decided against it considering the ****ney opposition so sticking with the old faithful Old Speckled Hen.

Christ on a bike I'd forgotten just how bad the pre match build up on Saints Player is  Makes the old saints TV look absolutely steller  Lol Pardew getting booed and Parkinson being named manager of the month ... surely the motm curse will kick in today [-o Come on you Saints (what colours are we in today?) I've finally become a fully paid up member so expect plenty of drunken dribbling and hopefully happy clappy posts later

Birmingham City in our relegation season 1974. All the way from the ground along Hill Lane to the station was one long battle field :smt118 The 2-1 loss as good as sent us down Same thing happened a few years later, 83 ish but this time we sent them down, similar scenes down Hill Lane again but unfortunately for me I had to travel on the same train back as the Brummies, praying nobody spotted my SFC badge on my Pringle type jumper that was the rage at the time [-o Brighton away back around the late 70's was always a hoot Just hope those days don't come back, despite the efforts of our famed yoof.

Why did the ball boys have the balls taken from them?
ericofarabia replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
LMFAO .. -
I reckon Henri was our last striker who could do 100m in less than 20 seconds  Would love to have him back on a loan to see if his heart really was in it to give it a real go for us.

I'm totally p*sed orf that I'm not in the frame for the away supporters quotes Another couple of rows down and you ladies might have got to see just how hot I am Fair play though .. top site .. ok Stevie and Baj the bar has been raised

Norwich fans were probably thinking the same thing a few weeks ago  Although a lot has happened to them since then Hopefully Hammond will work the ex club card and score a beauty to start the ball rolling.
-
LOL Does that mean we'll be seeing you back in Dubai soon

Very happy, but would be even happier if we could nail down Trottman to a permanent move or at least on loan till the end of the season before PNE realise how good he is  From what I have seen of Lambert and Hammond they are both exactly what we needed and Harding has been close to being Man of the Match in each of the 3 games I have seen (and seems to be a ready made replacement for Drew and Rudi in applauding the fans at the end of the match ). Not seen too much of Murty, but once again another good pro who knows what is needed at this level and hopefully will make a full recovery as his experience could be crucial in an end of season push into the play offs!! What a crying shame we couldn't have got all this sorted out 3 weeks earlier and start the season on a more even playing field Fingers crossed that Jaidi and Papa get their work permits sorted, but for me the most crucial 'signing' was that of Kelvin Davis. Already this season he has made some stunning saves and by the mere fact that he chose to stay with us rather than go to WHU (albeit to be no 2) shows he had faith in the new regime and that could have a been a positive sign to other players that have since arrived. Also now that Saga seems to be staying if he gets into the right mood mentally he could well be an important player for us as he has the skill to skin defences at this level with good diagonal runs and quick turns in the box. Feeling very positive and really beleive we can sneak into the play offs, especially if we pick up a couple of more players in the Jan window. Well done to Pardew and all the back ground staff and of course the new regime for making me feel good about the club for a change

Bitterly disappointed at not getting all 3 points from a game which we really should have put to bed long before the end. Stockport really were poor, and we still couldn't finish them off despite all our good play. The main positives for me were : 1/ Lallana looking like he is getting back into form. 2/ Trottman was immense in defence, hope we can keep him for the whole season (but on this form Preston will probably want him back in a flash) 3/ Wayne Thomas looked really good at fullback (admittedly Stockport didn't really have a livewire winger to test him out. 4/ In Lambert we have a player who is winning virtually every ball in the air, now we need to capitalise on his knockdowns. We really need a good song to sing his praises for all his good work. 5/ We even look like we can score from corners 6/ Vast improvement on my previous games seen this season. The lows were : 1/ The ref and linos. The ref got so many decisions wrong (for both teams) The linos didn't even give throw in decisions till they saw which way the ref had decided it would go. 2/ What a craphole Stockport is. Also what is it with The OB telling landlords not to let Saints fans into pubs for a quick aftermatch beer? 3/ Once again totally shocked at how so many Saints fans can sit at an away game and make so little noise. At Huddersfield we were playing poor and got little to get excited about, but yesterday we were in control, winning and playing half decent football yet it was still like a morgue in our section Back to sunnier climes soon so probably my last live game and will now have to endure the commentary on The Saint Player for the rest of the season . Great to meet up with a few old faces during my stay ... keep the faith and who knows the play offs may still be acheivable ( should I tentatively pencil in some leave for May ) COYS

At a guess The Armoury as it is closer to the ground. (Of course the more of you that go there, the less time I waste queuing up to get served in The Crown)

Another target ... Bob O'Dylan
-
Sounds like a winner to me then lads ... will be banging down the door to get in at 12.00 Only 16 beers , may end up trying a couple twice then

823 (I think) was the figure announced near the end of the game by the stadium announcer. There could have been a few more dotted around the ground in the away supporters bit i guess. Having had a quick glance at my ticket purchased on Friday, it doesn't have a squence number on it but it does say uncovered ... eeeek

Pah .... rumbled hi Pete !! As they say ... watch this space!! Will you be driving or arriving by tarin?

Should have explained that going into Manchester for post match beers (after 1 or 2 in Stockport ) is /was prob the best option ... now in addition I have just found out that it is Gay Pride Week End in Manchester as well  I would tell anybody calling me homophobic to stick it up their arse, but they;d probably enjoy it Any further news on the beer festival in Stockport?
