Taliking about training .. 95% of players work their nuts off
-
Of course I meant they would have been 2 seperate bets
-
Looks like my pre match routine is now going to have to include a bottle of Moet and Full English breakfast for lunch I'll have to see if Saints will sponsor this new routine Didn't seem to play particularly well but as we have been saying for weeks, don't care how the first win comes just so long as it does. Hope that sets it up nicely for the epic trek up to Carlisle, hopr the players give a performance and get the result that the loyal fans who are making the trip deserve. Only 16 points from the playoffs now Only team in the bottom 8 to get any points. COYS
-
Go and listen at your next door neighbours then
-
LOL Pompey lose 2-0 now officially the worst start for any team ever in The Prem We could get past 0 points before them yet hee hee
-
A belated New Years Resolution ? It is mandatory whilst Watching / Listening to any Saints match not to be sober. You're tense ... get a bottle of wine cracked open now and enjoy the last few minutes (admittedly its usually to numb the pain )

Waigo gets in a shot with his first touch, saved by the keeper. Trotman booked.
-
Fans lapping up every pass with an ole , a nice bit of flowing football leads to a corner ... no further comment needed  2 soft penalties to us, maybe our luck has changed.
-
Yeovil have a free kick, ""which is almost a corner, but 10 yards in from the touch line" They should have scored, but headed wide. yeovil getting back into it. Can we hang on till HT ... now a corner, squeaky bum time agianst mighty Yeovil :smt048

Weymouth losing at home to St Albans, not sure if anything happened at SMS
-
Thanks, not seen that before
-
OK I'll admit to the early drinking charge but who or what is Les Barker?
-
A bit of a scramble, clearance could have gone anywhere ends up as a corner ..... corner is a "loopy" one
-
YAY ... earwig O earwig O earwig O .... 1-0 Are we going to be able to hold on to a lead for a change, and hopefully build on it big time. Corner to us, 20 mins in, Lalana still taking them despite pleas on here to get somebody else to take them. Comes to zilch ... no change there then.
-
I said exactly the same last week ... hardly any actual live commentary, mainly a reflection on what happened 2 minutes previously. You've got the joys of missing action at SMS when they go off to Bomo, Skatesmuff or places like Eastleigh and Havent to look forward to :smt048

Lambert setting up a free kick from 30 yards, off the wall nearly sets up Lalllana. Plenty of attacking football but no clear chances as yet.
-
Come on Saints, Yeovil have a keeper making his first start, lets get him under pressure early doors. Had a pre match bottle of Moet with a full English breakfast at 3 o clock (heavy night last night!!) now tucking into London Pride hope the game goes as well of the rest of the day for me so far! Come on you Reds.

No gambling allowed out here but my imaginary bet will be 4-1 to Saints with Lambo getting a brace.

46 different league grounds plus The Real Wembley, all bar one (crewe) to see Saints matches. However of the current league clubs, 11 were visits to their old grounds, (Saints and Leicester are the only teams I've been to the old and new grounds). 4 teams are no longer in the league Luton, Oxford (Manor Ground), Wimbledon (Plough Lane) and Newport County (Sommerton Park) Which only leaves me with a poor 31 of the current grounds, 11 grounds no longer in existence and 4 teams no longer in the league.

Holes, Shafts, Wood, Balls, Strokes, Playing a round ...etc etc Finbarr Saunders would be right at home on the golf course with those girls

A little bit of backtracking there maybe re your remarks at his starting line up But you'll not be the only one to query his lack of re action / substitutions once it was obvious Charlrton had come up with a plan B in the 2nd half. Maybe it is a good sign that we feel disappointed at only a draw at Charlton when you compare it to the reaction of the Brentford and Colchester fans at the end of the games at SMS, you'd have thought bthey'd won the league
-
Seeing Skatesmuff bottom of The Prem and watched by a massive 17500 or so adds to the feel good (or maybe feeling better) vibe I'm getting as each week passses. Cliche ville Arizona I know, but I feel our season really is just beginning now. 4 games unbeaten, okay dropped points in games we should have won at Stockport and 10 mqn Colchester and also the mighty Brentford at home!! But today we took the game for half the game to the in form team away from home. Hopefully despite the disappointment of letting yet another leaad slip out of our grasp the players will be feeling much more positive and hopefully Yeovil will be on the end of the proverbial "somebody is due a thrashing from us"" Also a lol moment whilst scanning thru the results somebody with the name of Goodwillie scored against Celtic today. Somebody please tell me his first name is either Ivor or Roger

Shame to have missed you whilst I was back, but the good news is they normally start winning when I leave Uk so exect a great day out
-
My Prediction League prediction was 1-1 ... pity there aren't any Ladbrokes out here Hmmm .... Yeovil next week ... we all know/think we should be stuffing teams like this, especially at home... 1-1 is already sounding likely again  ... bollix to that next week we finally click ...4-0 at least. Hmmm ... The Old Speckled Hen is going down well
-
Seems strange to say it against such in form opposition, but it just feels with positive substitutions in the 2nd half we could have got them on the back foot again and beaten them. Add that to the shambolic last kick of the game draw at Stockport an extra 4 points and things would have looked alot rosier (won't even mention the 2 dropped last week ) 4 league games unbeaten and only 16 off the play offs onwards and upwards.
