scored more goals that day than we have at home this season

It needs to get toxic towards SR at games

The ownership reinforces this IMO, by refusing to admit their mistakes and doubling down on their 'philosophy'. easy for the players to down tools and avoid self-reflection when the owners do the latter and keep underperforming players in post either for an imaginary resell value that doesn't exist, or because theyre a right good laugh in the dressing room

Just getting it ready for 2 weeks time

The timing of the Romeu signing makes me feel sick. They could've brought him on in the summer, but decided to use him as a concession to score points with the fans before gambling the managerial appointment yet again. Gutless owners.

It'll be Tonda, the club think they can apply the buy/recruit young policy to everything from managers to first-team coaches to goalkeeper, striker, midfielder. Insanity

Incompetence is being assumed because of the last 4 years.

I don’t think it’s mutually exclusive. Still had flaws but I feel the players didn’t like him on a personal level and began downing tools. Funny that Still went as soon as the SR out chants began from the fans.

Norwich all over that.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I would put that down to the players shedding the manager they didn’t want. Now they have to put in effort to impress someone new.

Praising Eckert for the last two games is ridiculous. The difference between those two games and the ones before was our finishing. The performances as a whole were still woeful

Only if Klopp is also doing the recruitment

A lot of crap down the bottom end of that table. And then there's Wolves.

I mean he scored 10 in Bundesliga 2 last time around. With what we've seen on the pitch it's easy to forget he came with at least some proof of ability. Hope he can get through it.

Not sure why they went for the second, Juan is plenty.

I would have picked up Stoke's Johansson personally, and advocated for doing so in the summer. He joined them for 1m from Rotherham, I think 5-7m would have sealed him for us. Stoke have conceded only 10 this season, the best in the league. He's only 27 so plenty of time for him to grow.

The poppy on the shirt today looked stylish.

This is it for me. Data does not replace wisdom.

Full-time. Another victory, but against a woeful side, and performance not holistically strong enough. Guess this means Eckert gets the job, but it would be another gamble, not what we need. For now, it's good momentum before a difficult run of games.

Downs robotically turns and almost fluffs the pass

First back-to-back win in 19 months?
