Sorry but how the actual fuck are the owners of Atletico Madrid investing £48m into Wrexham for only 10%?! They worth £480m??? Just when you think football has produced the ultimate bad boss of vile corrupt unjust putridness along comes a new one to take crown. Fucking hate this club with a passion.

Don’t get the hate for Matsuki starting. Whenever I have seen him he’s been a little terrier going around and getting stuck in. Exactly the type of player you need on derby day. It’s not like Jander or Downes actually tackle someone. The real surprise is Bree. Throwing someone in who has been playing for another club all season for a derby is batshit crazy. I don’t think another manager on the planet would do that. Not saying he will have a strong allegiance to Charlton but it’s still a mindset change going back to another club that we don’t need in a game that demands the most loyalty.
-
Still think we need to replace him asap with an experienced manager but he has a point about us creating enough chances. Ok Sheffield United were poor but we could have had 6 goals last night if our players actually decided to shoot or could strike a ball semi well. Fellows might be the worst shooter I’ve seen at the club and that’s saying something. If we could get someone in who can at least strike a ball or have some instinct in the box we might make the play offs. The issue is average joes like Sesko and Gyokeres are going for £50m nowadays when usually they would go to a team like us first. If we can’t find anyone I still think Gabbiadini would be a great pick up on a free. We shouldn’t let the horror show which has been Romeu’s return cloud our judgement. You need legs in central midfield in this country, being in the right place at the right time is an art which he has.
-
Of course I wouldn’t. Are you seriously comparing a tiny shithole like Wrexham with Southampton? I know our club has shit owners and so are the council, but it’s one of the fastest going cities in the country with lots to tap into. The waterfront development alone is a reason to own the club which sports republic have been exploring. There is absolutely no return in owning a small potatoes club like Wrexham. It’s the type of club that should be owned by the local businessmen that hovers around league 2/non league. What’s happening with them is the most egregious example of financial abuse in football. At least with city etc you can get it to a stage where it can sustain itself. Thats never going to happen with Wrexham. Hate them with a passion and it doesn’t get enough bad publicity.
-
For me this when you know football has gone fully rotten. Ok we have had Chelsea, Man City etc over the years, but those are big clubs in big cities. You can see why a business would invest lots knowing there is a large fanbase and city to invest in. Wrexham?! Where is the investment return there apart from some crap show on Disney? Shouldn’t be allowed.

Possibly a player moving to or from Salzburg.
-
Believe someone might be off to Rennes. Not sure who. Possibly a CB.
-
Interesting to see that Norwich are starting to pick up points and be competitive since hiring a real manager in Clement. Same can obviously be said for Sheffield United since sacking off Tonda prototype 1. Apparently it’s rocket science for Sport Republic to associate experienced managers with betters results. The disrespect towards older managers/players in football nowadays is appalling.

Now being linked to a child at Wigan. We are going to need a bigger crèche at this rate. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/southampton-plotting-move-for-wigan-athletic-harrison-bettoni/
-
We all saw this coming when it was said that they had 8 payers or whatever missing. We knew they would not only compete but dominate us. Blackmore and Tessem saying the players look devoid of ideas. I guess we could all say it’s almost like we have a guy with absolutely no experience managing the team? Let it sink in, that’s actually the reality!!!!
-
Are you saying Fellows a winger and Manning one of the worst excuses for a defender I’ve seen in my life are a safer bet than Wellington and Jelert? Genuinely one of the worst takes I’ve even seen on this forum and that’s saying something.
-
And how do you move the ball fast if more than half the team are defenders and are inclined to stay in our half? If you play with an extra CB then your attack is going to be less affective but you should be tighter at the back. It’s why small teams park the bus when the play a big team. Are you seriously questioning why fans of one of the biggest clubs in the league who have more expensive clubs than most opponent’s whole squads are annoyed that we play a defensive formation at home? And as I write our defensive focused team makes another screw up that leads to a goal!
-
The real scary thing is that he’s already been out on loan to Standard Liege and was so bad they sent him back early. The doubly scary thing is that they replaced him with a guy who is younger and shorter than Baz who went on the let in half the goals he did. why on earth do people still think there is a chance he’s going to play well for Stoke??????
-
Got more chance of scoring than Smallbone surely?
-
He's been there and there abouts nearly every season with one exception for obvious reasons. Already got 11 in 15 games this season so think he’s doing alright. Did you not like washing his jockstrap or something? Remember when you’re old and grey and your grandkids ask what you did as a career your answer will be that you assisted another bloke who washed other men’s dirty clothes. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Certainly should be reigning your neck in and keeping a low profile.
-
That’s when he was playing up front In the premier league with one of the worst squads to ever play in it. He had no runners around him and was effectively having to do it all rather than just be a focal point, linking play and being in the box for crosses. He’d score around 20 goals in this league if we played to his strengths which would be possible now we have Fellows, Scienza etc. he didn’t want to be here though and who can blame him. Interesting fans are now all calling for a player like him after largely giving him abuse whilst talking up that wet tissue Stewart. Oh and by the way unless we are spending £50m we are not getting a tall strong number 9 who also has pace. We will only get one or the other. If we are looking to spend £4m we will get neither.
-
Average Joe journeyman striker being linked. Have we been linked to him before? Rings a bell. Can’t be worse than Downes surely? https://sportwitness.co.uk/southampton-approach-must-be-worth-less-than-e4m-minimum-fee-set/

Think you need to read the small print. This is the wages in proportion to the points the club has. So of course Coventry are top of this table as they have the most points. Conversely that’s why Sheffield Wednesday are bottom. Pretty pointless table. I guess it highlights two teams that are underperforming in Leicester and us but again that’s pretty obvious.
-
Managers usually fall into two categories at this level. One they have good few years of management behind them and two they are ex players so at least understand what it’s like to be players, have picked up knowledge from managers they have played under etc. Rather astonishingly, this guy is neither of those things so is as about as green as it gets. I’m not someone that thinks you have had to play the game to manage, or that age is a limiting factor, but the odds of this guy being up to the job were about as long as they get. It was a huge gamble even by Sport Republic’s standards. He is already showing that all he has in his arsenal is to play one formation and sub like for like. A literal novice with no interest in the game would have those tactics. We need to cut our losses with him asap.
-
The new Boruc? I’d take that.
-
The last time we had a twitcher in the dugout it went well. Keeping an eye out for the first shoulder roll.
-
You kind of answered your own question. That’s the kind of dross available in this window. Not many strikers with a shout of playing on the World Cup are not first choice. We need to be looking at free agents or strong arming a smaller club with less means. Obviously this means taking a punt on someone in a less competitive league in Europe but if we pick someone with the right attributes (tall, strong, scores goals etc) and is above the age of 25 we might have a chance of getting someone that improves us. I’d also take Gabbiadini for 6 months. A poacher isn’t so susceptible to age.
-
Wasn’t impressed whenever I saw him play for us but fuck me is it galling to see QPR above us in the table and effectively an upgrade for him. I remember all their fans having a go at the club for not letting them have him after the loan and thinking how sad it is that they think he’d be better off at their little club. This is the legacy of sport republic. Frequent reality checks of our shitness that get more and more embarrassing.
-
The deal is off. Apparently he didn’t fit into the small sized gloves the kitman has in stock for Bazunu.
-
Did he take your lunch money? Seem to have an unhealthy dislike of him. Agree it’s weird he didn’t work for another club but I bet banking is way easier. Can’t remember exactly but didn’t they tighten the purse strings and therefore torpedo his plan for us. Fair enough it’s their money and there was talk of him getting a bit lose with it but we could have been Leicester. We were certainly tracking to be an outside but credible shot for the title. Will always fuck me off that Leicester pulled it off basically copying us. Ok they had the ridiculous luck with their squad staying fit and towards the end the refs and media wishing them home but I believe they admitted as much that they copied our blueprint. They just had the balls to see it through. We got les Reed and shit the bed. If you want to talk about a wannabe dictator how about that nob? Can picture him reading a paper about Cortese and saying wait to they get a load of me.
