Saw Harley Dean last year in a friendly and was underwhelmed. Ben Reeves in the same game was outstatnding. Still a year is a long time in footy and he might have improved his fitness etc, he hadn't been at the club very long. Some of the donkeys playing in the team that day have already been released.

Are you saying he could not have finished off the job he started. He walked out on Reading to manage a Premier team, I think. He was not given the chance at Saints. So I am not sure why you would say that he needed some one to finish off and achieve what he set out to but didn't.
-
Pardew, great manager in my opinion, I watched the Reading team that he built and then Coppell took to the next level. Treated badly by Saints ultimately but life can be unfair and job security in football is none existent for most managers. Has he bounced back? Yes he has....Lets face it most of the current team is Pardew's....this will change in time though. Enjoyed watching Pardew change personnel on the pitch, sorting out problems one after the other for Saints too. He has a great eye for a player....I suspect a better one than Adkins I would also applaud the man should we play a team he manages, I think he deserves that from Saints fans.

Gorks is either a target or he isn't unless someting turns up during negotiations (fitness or injury etc).....Warnock has a point in my view. Not criticising anyone.

Don't you slag off Weston women on here!

My son has just got a grade B in GCSE in German. He is not academic really but he put his mind to learning all that was necessary. For his spoken German he knew in advance what would be discussed and learned a few key words, same goes for his comprehension exam. All in all he did not have learn much at all, and was not far from an A grade. I forgot to say that my son has only just turned 14......he starts his GCSE years when he gets back. No, I am certain that exams are easier now.

Paddy spies a letter lying on his doormat. It says on the envelope "DO NOT BEND." Paddy spends the next 2 hours trying to figure out how to pick the bloody thing up.

Only temporarily Verbal. Give it 3 months and the oil will flow and end up on our forecourts. Whover said that this is a conspiracy theory only needs to check out the facts..freely available.
-
Its a good plan.....Europe needs the oil, Libya is their biggest supplier - gadaffi is in the way. Remove the man by arming the rebels, "Advisors" coordinating attacks supported by massive airpower under the guise of a UN mandate so its legal. France arming the rebels. Does it matter if civil war breaks out? Not really, as long as we have our oil. Brilliant Operation 4 star...coming to a pump near you

Not wishing to be contraversial but Seaborne has looked at least as good as Fonte recently.

Hi, I chose BT vision for the Sky channel and my card that goes into the BTvision box has now been registered on line with BT. However I do have a question Our TV is in our family room on the wall. We have a BT socket nearby but it appears after testing it, that it does not work. So I am asking probably a blindingly obvious question, does our BT vision box need to be connected to BT for Sky to work. We had the BT vision box in the old house connected to BT. Any advice would be appreciated.

I did not realise that you also have a degree in Philosophy...I also studied religion within my degree too. Uncanny. Oh and I am just reading B B King's autobiography, a book by B B King

Hi ESB, I am a little concerned about this. 5 months in prison for receiving a pair of stolen trousers? Wo made the decision? Who was it discussed with? Was it discussed in parliament with our elected representatives? I do believe the scum that did this have badly let the country down and need to be punished. Who is it that can influence our judicial system like that?
-
4 years? Come on.....you can't be serious!!! I agree about the rioters getting custodial sentences but 4 years for incitement? I can't see how that's proportionate
-
I agree Minsk...but we the people don't appear to be able to influence this...someone else did and that for me is worrying
-
Whatever is current at the time...What's happened here is that guidance has ben issued to judges to be harsh etc. There is a copy of the letter. All I am saying is that in a healthy democracy you don't have to change to longer and harsher sentences. Whatever is in place at the time should suffice. Who decided to increase the severity of punishments? Who agreed to this? There's a bad smell in the fridge. Don't think that I am soft on crime, I am not but some of the punishments clearly don't fit the crime.
-
Shock horror we agree on something...this can't be right. In my view a democracy should not need to change its legal system at will. Its what we have done and I clearly think and thought that these looters should have got punished. Punishment is not fitting the crime
