  1. Unable to watch it for too long...... Angry and saddened in equal measure. I don't think we should forget that it's the quantity/quality of information received by this mob is likely to have had a massive bearing on their behaviour I don't think anyone should really believe that we invaded Libya to free them from their ruler. I recall a story from the first gulf war when a Kuwaiti was asked why he wasn't grateful for the US liberating them from Saddam. His reply was that he didn't have to be grateful as Kuwait had paid the US to do it. Bottom line for me.....when some one dies, no maiming of the corpse, when people of any race are buried you leave their graves so they can rest in peace.
  2. That's a good question Delldays
  3. Similar story from me....no way back now, I have remarried but my kids are damaged. If you are considering a relationship break up I would advise you to think carefully if kids are involved. Its incredibly painful for them. I am looking at getting a BMW M3 (old one)
  4. Me and the wife have an Ipad 2 each....my son has one as well. Our PC is hardly used any more. If we could find a way to store photos and could get a word processing package on the Ipad, I think we would ditch the PC..we have a wireless printer The Ipad 3 will have to be pretty special to get either of us to consider an upgrade. I think this is Apple's achilles heel. Their product is so good, why would you upgrade....
  5. Agree with everything you say here. I do believe that war is used to further the ambitions of various multinantionals.
  6. Harsh but I share your sentiments.....but not about Delldays...he fought for our country
  7. probably
  8. Not too sure what the UKs actual debt is....it is more than we are told, I am sure. The coalition are doing what they can by cutting out unecessary spend etc but this was never going to lead to growth (or at least any significant growth) We have borrowed too much the growth we had was fuelled in part by people taking equity out of our homes etc and wasn't sustainable. There is a 2 to 3 year lag and then MAYBE things will change and there will be growth....its not guaranteed though. That's my take.
  9. You have my sympathy mate. I know a few Pompey fans through work and extended family. They all share the same views as you. You are right to conclude that most fans on forums are morons. We had some fans calling for our manager's head the other week after some not so good results. Most normal fans don't post on the forums any more...I rarely do these days. Hopefully a new club will emerge from this mess.
  10. Agreed it was a great thread and it would be brilliant see it back
  11. What do you know about the Burzynski clinic? i saw the film etc
  12. Corpy you have earned some respect from me recently only to lose it with a post like this... I suggest you put the wages earned next to each of the players then a time line against each player played for us Wages went down and so did the quality of footy played. Larger wage earners were moved on...this is completely different to you guys and what you have doing. We tried to pay our way and Pompey haven't - for whatever reason
  13. Oh happy day:)
  14. Always rated Dickson myself...goood to see that he is back on the bus. He obviously conductered himself well...I thought it was standing room only when he left to go out on loan.
  15. Well the question was raised by our resident dickhead.

  18. Great post...I would have written something similar on here but I thought by doing do that I would merely irritate people.

  21. The moon is a space craft how else do you explain the titanium - its very hard on the outside, its hollow and is too big to be an orbiting moon....think about it
  22. I laughed...Tony Book was great for a few years too....
  23. I think you ladies underestimate how difficult it is for people to attend evening games. The journey in is a night mare once I hit chilworth. I crawl across the city, even getting to Southampton is a ****. I blame the Tories
  24. I will match that if they do it
