Let us hope and pray that they get relegated Oh how I will laugh

Mr Dubai you also have a choice....obssessed or what? Here we are winning our 3rd game in a row this season, is it 9 games in row (assuming we win this one) and what do you find to talk about.....teh Skates. Laughable

Sometimes you still manage to amaze me......

Coming back to reality my step kids are going to watch their team Reading at Pompey tonight, my wife can't make it due to work commitments. They will be met by my wife's cousin and her family, all staunch Pompey fans. They will ensure that both kids will get in and out safely, cook them both a meal before the game and eventually see them off afterwards. I don't think you could meet a nicer family....all true, believe me. I went to one away game with my son to watch Saints and was surrounded by some of the most unpleasant people I have seen in years. I am sure I was unlucky. Needless to say, I won't be watching Saints away from home for a while. Some of the posts on this thread are definitely unhealthy....bordering on hysteria. Isn't it time close it?

My take is this, he could be coached into a good footballer.. He had pace, could hold the ball and had an eye for goal too. Nigel is an excellent coach. I guess his opportunity here has gone now.

I have also just laughed.....its wrong, I know.

Thanks, my late aunt and uncle talked about Collins houses and how they liked them.....they lived in a lovely 1930s house in Woolston.

I thought the Collins houses in Swaythling were the ones you were talking about....are there other styles.....I suspect there might be.

Thanks mate, so I would need Sky Sports 3 as well. OK I shall go for this....

Team I would like to get Sky Telly. I am only interested in the footy, both the Premier and the Championship. The question is this...do I need to have Sky Sports 1 or Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports2 to get all the Premier and Championship games that Sky shows. From the one week schedule I could read online all the Premier League footy footy I saw on there was on Sky Sports 1. Is this correct or does the Premier League footy also appear on Sky Sports 2? Where is Championship footy shown on Sky

Let's see if I can put it another way Dune. One of the judges when trying a hoody () said to the offender that said offender should sort his life out and it got me thinking. The judge would have been born into an upper middle class family, been educated at the best schools etc and entered a profession where at a key time.....you need to have a leg up based on who you know...this is why the world of judges is a essentially a closed shop, very few if any black, women etc etc. Said offender (I am generalising here, but keeping it simple for you Dune) was most probably born into a broken family and raised in a broken home, broken education and so on.... where it is almost impossible to break out of. Everything is stacked against such a person in the same way that everything is stacked in favour of a person raised with a background similar to that of the judge's. I was once in this trap so I can speak from experience here. The gangs become your family when there is not much of afamily at home....I also remember those days too. Diane Abbott was right to say that black culture should not encapsulated by a rioter's life style, for one thing, not all rioters are black and another some blacks do get on in life. The clothes used to come from economic necessity, the ill fitting trousers were hand me downs from older siblings.

its midnight Hope all is well with you Col, it is with me...

MOST OF the unfortunate people who rioted are what I consider to be the collateral damage of society and its values.

Maybe its because the ladies on here are grown ups

I wish people were nicer to Mrs BTF.....just because you don't agree with her even asking for the motivation of the scum in all this there is no need to be disrespectful. I was raised in Weston - I reckon I'd have been up for it years ago. I remember thinking back then how if it came from a shop any item was fair game and could be stolen. I used to spend whole summers on the nick back then... It's not what I think now of course and obviously not what I would do under any circumstance .....excitement Mrs BTF, being chased by police provided you outrun them was great fun, I recall. I never got caught. Peer pressure, the chance to be more significant than you might otherwise be? If your life is empty, you have no assets, no job, not much of a family etc. These must be contributory factors at a guess. I don't believe I would not have set fire to shops like the rioters did last night.

No Bohemian Rhapsody is the best IMHO. My all time fave is Something in the Air Thunderclap Newman, Grooving by the Young Rascals, another beauty. Hard to choose the best Led Zep song, so many are good. Same for Pink Floyd
