  1. Do you have 15,000+ posts on Sochauxweb too?
  2. Its my birthday. I'm on honeymoon (currently in Austria). Rickie Lambert could score against Scotland on his England debut. Thank you little baby Jesus for the invention of Irish bars in every city around the world so I can watch the game tonight. Most excited I've been about an England game for a while!
  3. I'd take Forte. Even if he doesn't keep many clean sheets, he is pretty quick and will pick up the occasional tap in.
  4. informative article.
  5. is your "location" aimed directly at Alan Brazil? If not, would you mind please contacting him on behalf of me, so I don't have to mutter "premierleague" under my breath every 5 minutes when listening to him. Mucho appreciationo
  6. This thread
  7. Oh, the thread was only started today. Perhaps it was Tokyo I saw in Lloyds!
  8. I saw a man in Lloyds TSB in Chichester yesterday wearing a bra - I could see it through his think white shirt. I wonder if he had read this thread and then it helped him to feel confident enough to wear a bra.

    New RB?

Where is he being linked with us? In the Echo?
  10. Gaston is, in my opinion, our best player and the one I am most excited about, as a fan, watching this season. I want to watch Saints and see us play exciting football, with some flair in there. I want to see him attempt audacious balls through the middle, or around the back, and then sometimes give possession away, or try to beat a man with some neat trick. Again, he'll fail occasionally but at least he is trying and you know he has that ability in his locker and will only get better. Why people want to give up on him after only one season spent acclimatising I don't know - surely you want to be entertained at St Marys? Does anyone think he'll have a worse season this year? And if you therefore think he will have a better season, just how good could it be? I would be gutted if we sold him, but would be amazed if we did so.
  11. Benjii has a point though.
  12. There it is. My new Fact of the Day. Thanks
  13. Are the club considering it though, or are a load of made up twitter "agents" and "journalists" considering it? Apologies if I've missed an article where we've made a bid. Loving the quality of the players Saints are getting linked to - just hope we do actually sign some of them and its not just paper talk. This is all doing no good for my blood pressure.
  14. Same. They talk about football pretty much all day (or on the way to and from work when I listen). Where else can I get that fix? Don't read the Sun however, never driven a white van, don't watch TOWIE. Sorry Turks to spoil your wild fantasies. I look forward to the day you no longer post on here (not much specifically with this thread, just a general observation on your incessant childish ramblings and sarcastic postings)
  15. I have actually had conversations in real life with other people about when this thread would appear. Not sure now if I am sadder than him.... I was going to say how bizarre it is Alps keeps doing this, and posting the same rubbish over and over but it can only be some mental depressive hypochondriac pessimistic condition. Still, it is his opinion...
  16. So we have an injured Welbeck, and a not fit Defoe, with Rooney as the only striker. Even if not Lambert, why not draft some other youngster from the under 21's just for the experience or something.

    Nike.

Perhaps Gloat Simpletons is a place, and he is going to return to said place and we just misunderstood him. ITK'ers - keeping the internet fun for all eternity.
  18. Fair play from Connolly.... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/connolly-great-to-be-back-at-pompey-1-5124703 ‘There might be other teams in League One – but I am not sure they will be as good a club as Portsmouth. The News understands Connolly’s contract can be ripped up at any time if he is injured for 10 successive weeks. They were terms stipulated by the 35-year-old himself, eager to prove he is not motivated by money.
  19. Pompey Trust dreams shattered by a powercut! amazing.
  20. I wish I was as good at catching balloons as he is.
  21. Plus Danny Fox has also pulled out of the Scotland squad. Be nice to have at least one fit left back for our next game...although I'd almost rather have Yoshida play there than Fox.... hmmm maybe not!
  22. I live in Dover Road. If only I knew, I could have gone to that specific house and watched the game. I could have even worn my Saints kit. I wonder if the game was at my neighbours. They have had the builders in - perhaps they've converted the back garden into a football pitch.
  23. Only read the first two pages but I have learned that.... 1) we always lose when our game is televised 2) all ex players always score against us.
  24. If he competes again, the flashbacks he has when the starting pistol goes off will be horrific
