I remember the morale destroying stuff Redknapp used to come out with, and completely slate the players every time and push all the blame onto them. I'd much prefer to hear what JP has to say now instead of that kind of nonsense, and whilst he has held some players accountable, at least he is protecting them to a degree. Not sure where people thought we would finish this season - pushing for promotion? Maybe if we were lucky, but more likely just avoiding relegation, which is where we are now. Which means we will lose games, and there will be reasons/excuses why. Get used to it.

He was amazing, sad to see him retire. I'll probably never see another keeper better at Saints, everything about his game, and the way he carried himself, was quality. Except for his shooting of course, can't believe he hit the bar!

I was crap a few days ago! I did realise I had not set my tactics 2 mins before I was leaving the house in the morning, but its no excuse, I spent about 2 hours on the site the previous evening and still forgot to do them!! Lost out on 2 bids for players, but happy enough with the new forward I got in the end. Really wanted a freekick taker...

The previous two posts sum up exactly what I was going to say. Lazy journalism, simply putting all the relegated teams and play off teams from last season into the top 7 again (there or there abouts), along with QPR, who have not purchased yet to suggest they will end up in the playoffs.

Holmes won't be available every single game however, and we need cover. Look at the wasted expense if he ends up sat in the stands until xmas, when we get another chance to move him on. If we can't move him on now, then it would be ridiculous not to even give him a chance.
